THE DEFAULT SETTINGS ARE JUST WHAT I USE. IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY RELOOTED MOD.

This mod allows you to do 3 things.

1. It allows you to adjust the loose loot on maps down to each loot category through an extensive settings file. DOES NOT TOUCH CONTAINERS

2. It allows you to generate a detailed dump of the loot of a map, down to each individual item and count.

3. It allows you to generate a statistical analysis of targeted items over many runs.

Without adjusting the config\loot.json file, this mod will not affect game-play in any way, shape, or form. I will be releasing my own settings file later, once I’ve tweaked it to my liking. But other people can upload theirs freely, either in the comments, or as a complete entry on the mod portal.

All loot dump files will be written to the output folder in the mod directory.

The loot config file works the following

the ID to the left is the category, the multi is a multiplier for how common an item should be. 1 means its unchanged. 2 means it’s twice as common. 0.5 means it’s half as common. The “//Tools”: false is merely a comment to easily see what the category is.

The IDs should never be needed to be touched, the only thing you want to edit is the multi for the category of items you want to change the rarity of.

This mod does not interfere with loose loot multipliers from SVM, or any other mod that edits those values. Should works with mods that add new stuff to spawn points. I have tested it with BOOBs and it seem to work just fine.

Load order shouldn’t matter, but for good measure, load it last.

  • Disabled data dumping real runs (for now at least)
  • Added a baseline loot.json that adjusts the vanilla experience in a direction I enjoy. You can use the loot - noadjust.jsonc (rename it) for a blank slate.

  • Confirmed to at least not cause errors anymore with loot update.

Config file has had “HarmlessErrorLogging”: true added, but it defaults to being false if not present.

Does it mean it won’t work if I enable it or it is just disabled by default?

I had to disable that feature due to changes on how the server generates loot. So, its not working, but I might bring it back in the future.

Hey,

I’ve been using the mod consistently for the past couple of months. I’m really enjoying it, finding keys in-raid is much easier and pairs very well with my hardcore playthrough.

There is one thing that seems to be an issue. The med camp on woods has an absurd amount of Salewa’s, Ifak’s & Afak’s. In my config, the only thing I have tuned up on woods is the M4A1 spawn, to 5.00x. No global change either, everything is 1.00x. I do have some maps, like Labs & Shoreline with a 3.00x on medkits.

Is this is issue with the mod? Or is it just SPT, also, is there a way to “fix” this?

Thats very strange, I havent ran into that myself. Then again, I havent played 3.11 at all. Might be an issue with 3.11

Well, I’m not on 3.11, still rocking 3.9. But I’m not sure what’s causing it either, maybe there is a way to purposefully lower the amount of meds? For example, could something like this work?

Yeah, setting specific items on a specific map should do the trick. Might make scav base a bit barren tho.

Yea it might, but it’d be better than finding 10 medkits lol. It’s a little too much for my hardcore run. Thanks for your help.

So, this is a small issue that people just using the default config wont notice, but for anyone tweaking the config file, the “loot - noadjust.jsonc” and “loot - relooted.jsonc” example files don’t have the new flier and Hideout area container categories added. This will cause the fliers not to spawn in game. Luckily, it’s not hard to add them back yourself. Just crack open your loot config file and under the globalCategories section add these two lines:

Yes, It can adjust the abundance/quantity of loose loot on the map.

Adjust the totalLootMultiplier in the loot.jsonc file inside the config folder

How can I set it so that more items spawn for me, for me spawn few weapons or weapon attachments and money, although I have set it to 100.0 in the config

It will not create new spawn points, it works with what it there. However, there is also a total spawn limit on the maps. Increase the per-map loot multiplier if you want more loot. Though keep in mind that that will also increase all types of loot. I highly recommend doing loot dumps in to verify that you’re moving the loot in a direction that you want.

I meant how can I make money or other items spawn more often since I have already set them to 100.0 and sometimes these items still don’t appear

Due to the nature of how SPT has implemented loot, you can’t really set a single item to 100% spawn rate without breaking other spawns. Increasing the chance for one type (lets use money as an example), will make this mod increase the spawn points probability by a relative amount to the money’s spawn chance WITHIN that point. Say a point has 5 different items with the same weight, and a point chance of 10%.

Point: 10% — Money: 20w Bitcoin: 20w Chainlet: 20w Horse Statue: 20w Gold Chain: 20w If you then double the chance for money. Itll look like this

Point: 12% — Money: 40w Bitcoin: 20w Chainlet: 20w Horse Statue: 20w Gold Chain: 20w You’ve doubled the odds of money being selected, but the point only increased by 12 percentage units.

So if you MASSIVELY increase money, youll also increase the point, but you also basically make the other spawns never happen either. So I don’t recommend to go that hard with anything. AND you’ll also make OTHER spawn points less likely to happen as well, since there is a fixed amount of spawn points per raid. And making one MORE likely, will make all other points LESS likely.

You don’t need to delete anything. It will only load config.jsonc and loot.jsonc if you want to use any of the other, you have to delete the default loot.jsonc and rename them. But if you just wanna install and go, there is no need to delete or rename anything

Absolutely fantastic mod! I can finally make reserve feel like a military base with ammunition spawning more frequently and make labs feel like a lab with stimulants. I do have one question however, would it be possible to “buff” locked rooms? I doubt it’s possible since your just adjusting the entire map’s loot not a specific area. But damn it’d be sick to have the armory keys on reserve actually be useful. Spawn high tier mods, ammo, etc. Thanks.

Unfortunatley not. I have been considering doing a project where I map out different maps’s locations for fine tuning. But it would be an incredibly tedious pocess. If anyone has any ideas or would like to do it for me, lmk.
