Due to bsg’s poor tech, there’s lots of interventions in weapon building, as for HK416A5, if you want to use a long handguard, then you can only use 20in barrel.

In fact, if you fold the sight of the barrel and it works with these blocking handguards.

So, here’s a simple mod that uses 16in heavy barrel, a chunky one, allows you to install all the handguards.

Access in ragfair only.

Compared to 16.5in barrel, recoil-, heat-, quality+, ergo+, while cooling+, accuracy-, weight+, velocity-

but equally the same

(In fact, the heavy barrel performs better because of the compatibility of long handguards)

I don’t want 20in barrel in HK416.

Thank you for loving this mod. glad to see the patch.

I haven’t tried Realism yet as I’m not a hardcore gamer and don’t have much time on Tarkov.

The idea is decent, although I can’t deal with the coding problem for those who don’t play Realism, but I can put the redirect link on the overview page if you want.

It is a fairly simple .json file that just has to be in the correct folder, but I understand wanting to keep it simple. Were you to include it, people without Realism would get an annoying error message in the server console about a missing package.json for Realism. I’d appreciate a link, and the offer to include it directly with your mod is still open.

I have no clue why but the db file in the 3.8.x update makes Windows Defender shit the bed (flag it as a virus) for me.

idk, probably the handguard, not the barrel.

cant help with the bipod, but the 416 gasblock from the miralyn weapons port should complete the m27 look even more (delete the spt realism incompatibility in the package.json file if you have that)

are you able to make a 10.3 inch barrel that fits with all suppressors, kinda ugly to have a 9 inch midwest handguard, and then have barrel sticking out before the suppressor, and while you’re at it, maybe you could make some geissele handguards for the 416 too. but the barrel itself would be extra sick
