Due to bsg's poor tech, there's lots of interventions in weapon building, as for HK416A5, if you want to use a long handguard, then you can only use 20in barrel.
In fact, if you fold the sight of the barrel and it works with these blocking handguards.
So, here's a simple mod that uses 16in heavy barrel, a chunky one, allows you to install all the handguards.
Access in ragfair only.
Compared to 16.5in barrel, recoil-, heat-, quality+, ergo+, while cooling+, accuracy-, weight+, velocity-
but equally the same 
(In fact, the heavy barrel performs better because of the compatibility of long handguards)
I don't want 20in barrel in HK416.
