Old versions still work

This mod is an adapted version of alexkarpen’s original “HEPHAESTUS”. As the initial creator, alexkarpen deserves full credit for the foundational work.

In this iteration, the emphasis is on enhancing the trader aspect. This trader is now more expensive, has an increased purchasing capacity, and exclusively deals in roubles.

Originally developed for personal use, I’ve decided to share it with the community. The trader in this version is designed to price presets based on flea market rates, ensuring compatibility with mods that alter prices.

The trader becomes available at level 15. To activate his services, players must sell food, weapons, mods, and ammo worth 10 million roubles to him.

The trader now features a new image.

Future updates will include quests to unlock “Discounts”. This aspect is still a work in progress. (Post-3.8.0)

Please note that the trader’s inventory does not update instantly. To see the changes, either enter a raid or restart the game. (If anyone has a solution, please let me know. )

Should you encounter any discrepancies with price calculations, please don’t hesitate to inform me.

Tested on 3.7.4 and 3.7.6 with no problems. (Standalone)

Occasionally, an error occurs in the console when attempting to fetch weaponBuilds. It should not cause any functional problems; the issue is purely visual in the console. (I am actively working on resolving this issue) Might have been fixed in 1.0.3

Can you make it so he is tiered by the template cost? So like ll2 unlock upto 300k, ll3 unlock up to 600k, ll4 max remove cost cap? With something like 3m for ll2, 6m for ll3 and 12m for ll4?

From my understanding its the: Guns Update 14.0 version: 1.0.3 by: Pettan. That does the bug. Im not sure on how to fix it, and im not sure i will fix it before 3.8.0.

Hi ! Quick question, since I am really bad at coding and therefore cant find it in the code myself :

Where does the trade get the presets from ? Are they stored in a seperate folder ? Or does it acess them via the profile somehow. Normal EFT (afaik) stores the presets on the online profile but does SPT do that as well ?

Would it be possible to edit him to require less money to unlock? I find the 10M restriction a bit much considering he only accepts like, weapons and food lol, I’m level 21 and only have 1.7M spent at him
edit: I changed the four values under his loyalty levels to 5mil in base.json and that seems to have done it without breaking anything

not sure whats happening i got 10 million for the trader and im level 19 and restarted and gotten into multi raids just nothing pops up and im getting no errors

This may be attributed to a mod conflict. I have only tested it on a clean version, and I lack the expertise to resolve mod conflicts.

I’m not sure about compatibility, so you may need to debug it yourself. The mod works perfectly on its own, but I lack the skills required to make it compatible with other mods.

The issue at hand is my lack of understanding regarding the cause of this error. Personally, I’ve accumulated over 80 mods without encountering this particular issue before.

Is it possible that the presets aren’t displaying correctly? It could be related to an error during the flea generation process within the trader enumeration, but that aspect might be inconsequential. If your presets aren’t appearing as expected, the reason remains unclear. It’s possible that the problem arises if you’re using a preset that contains content from version 0.14, but I’m not entirely certain.
