All credits to Nootropix i just fixed it up for latest version nothing changed.

Allows large capacity magazines to be loaded/ unloaded with ammo faster. Works with SPT 3.9.x

This mod increases the speed with which the larger magazines can be loaded and unloaded with ammo,

and the magazine check speed for them.

Use the config file to adjust the speeds and minimum size magazine you want to adjust as you see fit.

The MAXIMUM change to speed is 100, meaning 100%. This gives near instant reloading of mags.

HOWEVER!! Your MagDrills skill will be taken into account too, so you need to adjust for that.

For example, if your MagDrills skill gives 30% reduction in load times, you can only set this mod at up to -70,

if your MagDrills skill gives 20% reduction in load times, you can only set this mod at up to -80, etc.

IF YOU SET IT TO TOTAL MORE THAN 100, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOAD OR UNLOAD MAGS AT ALL!

INSTALL: Just drop the file in the “user > mods” folder

I use SVM and noticed it has a place to change the speed for magazine loading and unloading.

Can I assume this would be an either-or decision? I don’t need both or does one do something better than the other?

Is it possible for me to configure it to where larger mags are still relatively slower? For example, I want 95 round mags to load say, 30% slower than 60 round mags and then 60 round mags are 15% slower than 30 round mags.

I’m not sure what you’re implying. I did test it and every magazine loads at the same speed now.

Its just a single config with simple adjustments for loading speed on single mags so NO.

it doesnt speed up some mags. i tried vanilla and modded mags and it was random. two of the mags that werent sped up were ar-10 polymer 776 751 30round mag and 60round for grau which is a modded gun. it speeds up the mag for reasonant ak (also modded) and stanag 556 45 30round mag (vanilla)

check the paperwork… default is 30 mags if yiu want to load lower sized mags change the settings in the config

i did. i set it to 5. mag size didnt matter. it’d speedload for example the stanag 556 30round mag and doesnt speedload the 776 30round mag that i used for mdr. the grau’s mag is a 556 60round and doesnt speedload. reasonant ak is a 776 40round mag but it speedloads

only thing I can suggest is to download it again. I’ve not ever had or heard of those issues before

had the same problem from 3.10 but didnt really bother cuz it was only grau. now some other mag is also having the same problem
there must something weird with the weapon or mag codes, i uninstalled all mods and only kept the speedloader grau and resonant ak but nothing changed

Just go into “package.json” and change the line “SptVersion #” to “akiVersion” to the one you want. (3.8.3)

Thanks. I see in the src\mods.ts that these new 3.9.x and 3.10.x versions still have references to “spt-aki”. With the release of SPT 3.9.0 (Jul 6, 2024), it was stated by the devs that a major change was made in that all references of \Aki_Data were changed to \SPT_Data, and that ALL 3.8.x mods were not compatible due to that change. Just curious, how is this mod working for 3.9 and 3.10 with the refences still using SPT-AKI? Again, just curious. Thanks.
