Overview

This mod does the following:

  • Pauses in-game time when out of raid
  • Slows down the daylight cycle in raid from 7x IRL speed to 5x. (configurable)
  • Stores a current out of raid time based on when you left your last raid (can be changed manually in the config)
  • When you exit a raid, the current in-game time + a time jump of 1 hour (configurable) will be saved and used when you enter the next raid
  • When you die, the time will reset to 8 am (configurable)
  • Factory will be locked to day or night depending on the current saved time
    • Night time for Factory starts at 21:00 and ends at 06:00
    • You can disable the time system specifically for Factory in the config if you’d rather still be able to choose the time on that map

NOTE: This mod will NOT affect hideout craft times or trader restocks. You will need to adjust the server-side time rate via SVM or similar to change that.

  • Time data is now stored in the new server mod backend
  • Raids that last 5 minutes or less won’t experience a time jump, instead they will only advance by the amount of time spent in the raid * the cycle rate. Idea here is to make super short raids still feel short.
  • Fika compatibility improved

Hotfix that fixes issue where hour value could sometimes be greater than 23, causing UI bugs and crashes on raid start with errors about invalid time data.

Thank you Dicey for reporting it and testing the fix!

This version will ONLY work on SPT 3.8.X versions!

Once the SPT 3.9.0 update is released, it should be version agnostic going forward.

This doesn’t work on headless for me, even when I die the time doesn’t reset because the mod considers the headless client as having successfully extracted. Any way to fix this?

Amazing mod! Quick question, how do I disable the time system specifically for Factory? I do not see this option in the config file. Thanks!

Hey @Jehree

Would it be possible to add a random time factor to the raid time exit jump? Was just having a think how long it would take IRL to unload, put shit away, restock, take care of any wounds ect, before I could go back out, and it would all depend on the state I would be in. So could be 1 hour, could be 2 days. So is adding something like that possible where we could pick between EG 1-72 hours or what ever our choosing was, and the time would be picked at random between those numbers?

Hey !

Thanks for the mod. It’s great !

I just find it a bit odd that all the time I spend in my stash / hideout doesn’t advance the raid time… Is their a way to make the raid time running while not in game as without the mod ?

Cheers !

For some reason when I have this mod installed the server reads the wrong time indifferent from what’s stated in game when I start a raid like stating 8:00 in game and 14:36 in console. While I’m within said raid, sky cycles and time are both random and interchanging at odd intervals. This results in the skybox changing along with the lighting and shadows repositioning in accordance to the instantaneous change in sun position. Was just curious about if anyone else had experienced this. I had tested this with anything from a full mod list to the bare basics like realism, sain, looting bots, etc.

Hi, really love the mod, its a must have for me!

But it would be nice to have an option to disable the time skip when playing as a scav, cause with fika, people tend to do scav when waiting for other person to be ready and the time is skiping and by the time everyone is ready, either the night or day has been skipped.

Hey, in the config file I set the “reset_hour” to 2, left “time_resets_on_disconnect” on true. I then restarted the server and went to load a raid, but the time was still at 8:00. Am I missing something obvious?

Feature request:
Each time the server/host starts ~ would it be possible to set the time to the current real world time?
Ask this as it would add to immersion. Will have to work off hosts time zone with regard to fika
