INSTALLATION

Installation

  1. Download DisableTraitorScavs
  2. Open the downloaded 7z file in 7-zip
  3. Select the SPT folder in the 7z file in 7-zip
  4. Drag the SPT folder from 7-zip into your root SPT folder

  • disableTraitorScavs
    • Default: true
    • Change this to enable/disable traitor scavs
  • traitorScavChance
    • Default: 15
    • Percentage chance to spawn a traitor scav if above setting is false.

Ive had this happen in SPT. Troubling to run out with a good airdrop loadout only to get whacked by “friendlies”.

I see a lot of PMCs who spawn together then shoot each other, too. Often. which is weird.

Does this work with Greed? I have friendly scavs turned on but I’m still getting shot in the back when playing as a scav.

I do not use SVM so I am unsure of the compatibility between them. Does your server console have any messages from the mod saying it’s being overwritten?

Des this mean bosses will shoot you as well? If not, would it be possible to add it to the config but disabled by default to have bosses attack you’?

This mod only changes the chances of traitor scavs spawning, and does not affect bosses in any way. Unfortunately, that would not fit in with the scope of this mod.

I’m still getting traitor scavs, could it be because of SWAG or should this still disable them regardless?

This would have to load after anything else that also configures this chance

EDIT: I released an update that will throw a console error on the server if the mod is being overwritten. Try the new version and see if you still have an issue and no console error.

What is a traitor scav, and under what game play circumstance are they found?

When you play as a scav there is a 15% chance that a traitor scav spawns. This scav will shoot you on sight, but you can kill them to gain some fence rep.

This mod disables them, or allows you to change their spawn chance.

I got burnt a few times for killing (traitors) after they missed me

truly the live experience
