QBZ-97(mostly means “Infantry Rifle Type 97”) is a bullpup automatic rifle made by China. It is the 5.56mm NATO export version of QBZ-95 assault rifle used by Chinese military which fires 5.8x42mm cartridge.

This reliable, cost-effective and fun-to-shoot bullpup rifle is popular among armed forces around Southeast Asia and firearm ethusiastics across the world. Sadly, some part of the world has banned it from entering their market, but now you can get one for yourself inside Tarkov.

The model and the sounds are taken from New World Interactive’s FPS game Insurgency: Sandstorm. The animations are tweaked version of ASH-12’s to fit the AR-style magwell.

Installion:

Just like other mods. Unzip and drop Mass_QBZ97 folder into “[Your EFT Directory]/user/mods”.

You should be able to find it and its parts in Mechanic’s shop and on the flea market.
