Version Notes

Updated to 2.1.1, this version now supports all profiles. I don’t have all the new stims added in yet, but all of the OG stims and pouches should be working. Thanks again to DrakiaXYZ for helping me with the object coding.

I’ve updated MechanicMan’s Medical Specials mod to work with 3.9.0 including Unheard edition profiles. I will remove this once the original author updates their mod.

Original Description:

Meds in your special slots? Duh? Other Special Slot Mods felt like cheating. Being able to carry 4 backpacks and what not is a little ridiculous. This felt more realistic as I run it with Realism.

This is my very first mod, so if there are errors please let me know. Open to feedback, both positive and negative.

I created this mod to make all healing/injector items fit into special slots. I loved the mod “Special Slots” by jbs4bmx. But it felt too much like cheating as I could carry 4 backpacks, rigs, armors, etc. Never-the-less the mod is inspired by him so go check his version out too. Jbs4bmx - Special Slots. I use this mod with Realism so being able to store meds in your special slots (as well as an injector case) made more sense to me. Keeps me honest lol I hope all others enjoy as well. I have updated this mod to also be compatible with GoblinKing meds and the Medical SICC (MICC) Case.

I run this mod with 35 other mods so it SHOULD in theory be compatible with every mod EXCEPT those that also change special slot parameters.

P.s. just got note this still works with 3.7.2. I haven’t had any time to update the client version so you may have to change that for it to not show as outdated.

Sorry it is in french but it translates to

Mod (MechanicMan-MedicalSpecials390-AllProfiles) does not have a package.json file. Make sure you have checked the installation instructions on the mod page

Special slots are not accepting medicals. It worked only once.
Feels like something breaks on profile update idk..

Looks like you’re using the older version (2.1.0). please delete the old mod and install the new version (2.1.1)

Updated, it’s working now and i’m happy about that but strangely the server still revcognizes it as 2.1.0. A problem on SPT’s side? Hmm..

When i put the injectors case inside the special slot, it shows it’s contents on a window but it’s overlapping with other stuff and also seems to be on the background of the menu? Like other UI stuff is on top of it.

Yeah I’m not sure how to fix that, that was also an issue in the original mod.

on jbs4bmx’s special slots he states:

* Recommend using SVM - Under “Case Space Manager”, click to install HideSpecialIcon.dll file. It should hide the container’s slots when placed into any of the Special Slots.

Sadly SVM isn’t available for 3.9.0 yet.

Yeah, I’ve been having trouble figuring out how to make all profiles work. Give me some time, I’m figuring it out as I go. If you’re using an Unheard profile, the first version of this mod I uploaded should work.

I’m not getting any extra pockets. There is probably a conflict with something. I don’t use SVM.

You don’t get extra pockets, you don’t need SVM. This just allows you to place medical items into the special slots usually reserved for jammers, beacons, etc.

When I put a medical item in a special slot, a message appears stating that the item is not suitable for installation.

Same here. No med items are able to be put into special slots. Tried lowering it in my load order on the off chance something somehow was conflicting, but i cannot get it to work at all.

What profile are you using? Edge of darkness, Prepare to Escape, Unheard?
