
Remove the unnecessary scum from the map!
A BepInEx mod for Escape From Tarkov via the modding framework, SPT (aka, SPTarkov, Single Player Tarkov, SPT, etc.).
What this mod does.
Allows you to set a radius and time interval in which dead bots will be removed from the map.
Allows you to manually enforce the removal by clicking on a button in the BepInEx F12 menu.
*New* Allows you to manually enforce the removal by clicking on a shortcut key of your choice (default is F5).
This mod also removes non-interactable firearms from the map that are usually leftover when you remove dead bot entities.
Why this mod?
The aim of this mod is to boost performance and increase in-game fps by reducing the number of objects (in this case, dead bots) being processed by the CPU.
It further aims to improve upon performance by also removing the firearm entities that are typically left over when you remove the dead bot entity.
This mod is based on B.D.S.M. by Helldiver, but also provides the ability to manually run the removal process.
Incompatibilities:
FIKA - No; I will not be adding it in the future.
Extract the contents of the zip file to the “root” of your SPT folder.
- The same location as ‘EscapeFromTarkov.exe’, ‘SPT.Launcher.exe’, and ‘SPT.Server.exe’.
Delete the “RemoveTheDead.dll” file from the “[SPT]/BepInEx/plugins” folder.

Update:
Fix timer for automatic body removal. (It will actually run automatically now.)
Add shortcut key (default: F5) for instant removal. (Now you can trigger instant removal without having to use the BepInEx F12 menu.)
Minor task code optimizations.

Patch removal of bot firearms. No more non-interactive firearms laying around the map.
Known Issues:
Game stutters when bot/firearm removal process occurs, whether on interval removal or removal initiated by player.

I’m trying to understand the mod correctly
1. do you need to meet the two conditions to automatically clean
2. or is it manually and you have to click the button after you meet the two conditions of 120 and 30, the bodies outside of the parameter disappear
3. time is automatic as long as you meet the second condition and the manual is for distance.
4. I put the bodies to 300 instead of 120 seconds without touching remove the bodies, It didn’t clean them automatically

is it compatible with fika (dedicated client)?
I don’t know why it’s not working for me , Even if I use manual cleanup , The corpse in front of me has not changed at all.
Nice mod, have a few ideas/requests here:
I would like the context menu that gives me the option to loot a corpse to also give me the option to remove it. So that I can specifically remove individual corpses.
Also, this mod is not fully compatible with Dynamic Maps. If I display the corpses and this mod removes the corpse, the marker remains. Would it be possible to make it compatible?
If I understood the mod correctly, what if we killed the enemy too far away or in a hard to reach place? The renegade base is a perfect example where we can kill a bot, only to loot it 10 minutes later. In general, I want to say that it would be very cool if the deletion affected only the corpses that we had already cleaned.
