Very cool, ty for this! I thought about something like this since finding OpenTrack.
Worked out of the box for me with OpenTrack. Still playing around with it, but it would be cool if when you ADS, the headtrack could take over aiming. Or if you could set ADS to zero the position.

Yeah, It would be very cool, but very complex I think. The only workaround is put a little deadzone in the center position to help aiming, or modify the curves.

There is reset function in the F12 menu, perhaps that could be given a key bind like right click. Idk if that would even feel good.
This is a lot of fun, just a little disorienting. What would help a lot with that is a little bit of roll and translation of the head. Just pitch and yaw doesn’t feel quite right. I’m still yanking my head over trying to peak a corner lol. Thanks again

Not working with opentrack for me, but I use over 300 mods so maybe that’s why ?

Hey Nano, I have yet to try your mod but I have a question before I do use it if you wouldn’t mind me asking.

Would this mod work with the Tobii Eye Tracker 5? I know it’s a different product but I’m just curious if the mod has the same user ability as the TrackIR but for the Tobii.

I don’t know. I know for sure it that it works with TrackIR and Opentrack software . Google says “The latest releases of OpenTrack now support Tobii natively”, so if Tobii alone don’t work you can also try Tobii with opentrack and check if it works. This JonBons’s mod is a game changer, it really should have a lot more downloads.

Appreciate it bud, I’ll give that a try once I get my Tobii 5 through the post. Yeah I’m surprised mods like this don’t get more attention seen as it adds a whole different aspect for the game and I didn’t realise this existed until a couple weeks ago, I was like I’m definitely trying that!
