What does this mod do?
This mod makes getting headshot more… headshotty, by instantly fading your screen to black when you get killed with a headshot.
INSTALLATION
Like any other mod, just drag and drop the BepInEx folder into your SPT folder.

This mod dosen’t work properly with Fika anymore. The screen does go dark but you can still hear sounds and when you’re dead your camera is stuck to the body and can’t spectate anyone but it’s still possible to exit the raid.

Not sure if its this mod, but when I get shot in the head instead of getting the black screen Im still stuck in the Raid, with no hands. I cant access the Menu or Inventory or do anything but i am able to move around; clearly I was dead by the headshot (or grenade) but the game didnt ‘end’ the raid for me; able to help?
Is confirmed which mod can cause issues that after death you have still Head view point? Didnt had this issue w 3.11.4 but now yes unable to spectate bots and probably others.. is it cause of version,bug,other mod or i am missing something?
Can we get a config where no matter how you died you the black screen ?
Has anyone ran into issues with this mod in Fika’s headless client? On same modlist and same server, When I host the game, the mod works fine. However, when the headless client hosts, the mod stops working.
Also wanted to add that it seems the contextual option is not working correctly. The enable text option says that it only shows text when shot in the head and that seems to override the contextual option since death by any other means doesn’t display the text.

pein, don’t worry, I haven’t reuploaded the mod in any way. I just preserved the filepath so that it can be dragged and dropped like the installation of your mod itself. Is it possible to make it so a random message would appear when you die with the text enabled?
wish there was a way to put the message i made for all deaths not just headshots… would be funny cause i have a bunch of death messages ontop of the cod quotes that adds ontop of this mod
Love this mod for 2 reasons:
1, the realism it brings, the sudden change from you running through an open street to suddenly the cold darkness of death is incredible
2, the death message system helps me to keep the immersion by saying something like “That’s not how the story ended” to help explain why our PMC can just come back over and over again
