Hello. Do you plan to expand the modifications of 9x39 caliber weapons? I mean, I would like to install “Zenit B-3 ring mount”, “Zenit B-3 combined mount”, “TOZ 6P29M mount” on such barrels as SR-3M, 9A-91 and VSK-94. Especially since the standard B-3 is installed on them.
I hope this miracle will be updated
To anyone who wants the dust cover to work for the VAL - here’s what I did:
I went to the following directory: “SPT_Data\Server\database\templates” and opened the file called “items”
There, I looked for the VAL’s ID, which is “57c44b372459772d2b39b8ce”.
Once I’ve found it, I’ve looked for the section called “mod_reciever”, and modified it as follows:
“{ “_name”: “mod_reciever”, “_id”: “57c44ce02459772d2b39b8d4”, “_parent”: “57c44b372459772d2b39b8ce”, “_props”: { “filters”: [ { “Shift”: 0, “Filter”: [ “57c44f4f2459772d2c627113”, “578395402459774a256959b5”, “5783954024597777256959b5” ] } ] },” “5783954024597777256959b5” is the VSSM dust cover’s ID, which was added to the “Filter” section.
I’ve also gone to “\user\mods\vssm\db\nerv_inv” and opened the “vssm_dustcover” file and done the following for good measure:
“slotsToAdd”: { “targetID”: [ “57838ad32459774a17445cd2”, “57c44b372459772d2b39b8ce” ], “slotName”: [ “mod_reciever” ] }, I’ve basically added the VAL’s ID to the “targetID” section.
This is just a quick and dirty fix, as it involves modifying the source files of SPT. If anyone has any suggestions how to make it into an compat patch or whatever, then please drop a comment.
pls add to the ASVAL they’re interchangeable for this exact reason. would likely make it way more useful then just limiting it to one weapon

i’ve been waiting for a mod like this for a LOOOOONG time, textures need some work, sure but that can always be fixed later on. great for a first release
