Always scan for viruses.

All gun attachments are changed and fully configurable. This includes:

  • Stocks

  • Foregrips

  • Sights (all types) - Iron Sights, Collimator, Compact Collimator, Optical Sights, Scopes etc.

  • Muzzles (all types) - Compensator, Flashhider, Suppressors etc.

  • Flashlights

  • Lasers

  • Handguards

  • Pistol Grips

    Total number of attachments changed: 1094

Silencers and Flashhiders are buffed. Which makes Guns OP with Perfect Ergonomics. To avoid this please use Config file to balance it. IMO -> OP AIs need OP Guns.

Installations

Copy the SPT folder into your SP Tarkov Root Folder. The BetterAttachments Folder will automatically Placed in <SPT-ROOT>/SPT/user/mods

Improvements:

  • Ergonomics improved by ~50%
  • Recoil improved by ~25%

Everything provided in the mod is configurable. Just update ergonomics_updated and recoil_updated value inside the config file whatever you want.

Added Configuration for Suppressors’ Heating Parameters.

  • durabilityBurn_updated: Lower is better, example 1.35 means +35%
  • heatFactor_updated: Lower is better, example 1.15 means +15%, 0.98 means -2%
  • coolFactor_updated: Lower is better, example 1.35 means +35%,
  • Only VSS and ASVal is updated with these parameters to improve heating problems with VSS/ASVal
  • For Configuration related to other suppressors, refer in config file: 57838c962459774a1651ec63 (VSS 9x39 integral barrel-suppressor)

Hey boss i dont know if this should be put here or elsewhere, but i tried to adjust the foregrip recoil_updated setting and its not taking effect for any of the foregrips. However, the ergo does seem to work.

ai probably won’t use the recoil parameter.

Okay. I do have the Adern (I think that’s what it is) mod, so AI will have custom loadouts (for PMC AI’s)

Installed the latest version of the mod on SPT 3.11.1. Everything seems to work. Just need to rewrite the version of the package.

Inside the mod folder there is a file “package”. Open it and you will see “sptVersion” there, change it to “sptVersion”: “~3.11”,

I love and hate this mod at the same time. It makes me let concern while building gun but laser gun is a bit OP

And someone explain what is “ergonomics - ergonomics_updated”?

And how to adjust?

The default stat is a bit to much to me

ergonomics is the default value, and the ergonomics_updated is the new updated value. If you want to disable buff for a specific attachments like muzzle/handgurads or foregrip just disable those in the config.

Hey there. Wanted to say thanks for the mod, but I’m looking to config it for myself. I want to basically half all the improvements. Looking through the config file, I see “ergonomics” and “ergonomics_updated”, with the same things for recoil. Do I just have to change the values for those?

erognomics - Is default
ergonomics_updated - is modified and applied to the attachement
Similarly, if you want to modify the recoil values, you need to change it in recoil_updated

Can you do something about the overheating of the VAL and VSS? Not disable it, but tone it down so i can maybe shoot 3 mags instead of 1.5 before it jams.

Yes, I have seen those suppressor’s heating related parameters but did not know the VSS/AsVal’s are that much nerfed as I dont use those weapons. I have added the config for the suppressors. Please check 3.10.5 version. That should solve this problem.

The Weapon heating is directly linked to GUN itself, so modifying weapon Heating parameter using attachment configs is not that effective. Still the above configuration can able to reduce weapon heating significantly.

in 3.10.4 I have added a configuration to disable extra reoil for suppressors. But the reoil improvement will be added to any muzzle devices.
3.10.2 only imporves recoild in compensator and Foregrips.

Now, almost all my weapons have little to no recoil, which isn’t what I expected from Tarkov.

so…I’m not sure this is what I wanted, haha!

I have added configuration for separate Muzzle recoil and Suppressor Recoils buffs. There was a bug in my configuration which was adding unwanted reoild and ergo buff to muzzles which I will fix today.

there was a issue where recoil was 0. And I have mistakenly added recoils to -5% by default Please redownload 3.10.4. But still there will be some buff to reoil. To remove this you need to disable from the config.

Hey, nice mod however I’m trying to change the recoil of the “AR-10 KAC QDC 7.62x51 Muzzle Brake Kit” from -9% to -10% and the “KAC PRS/QDC 7.62x51 sound suppressor” from -8% to -10% recoil as well but these items don’t have the “recoil” or “recoil_updated” lines so I added the lines myself to the correct items in the config but it does not update the recoil and I’m not sure why, any help?

I simply added the “recoil”: -9.0, and “recoil_updated”: -10.0, I don’t get any errors in the server and I can change the recoil of other attachments that already have the “recoil” and “recoil_updated” lines and those actually change in-game. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that is because I did not added any recoil configuration for Flash hiders, suppressors. It was fixed in the 3.10.3 version. Please download the latest and thank you

Hey! Thanks for the mod.

I would like to configure it but im not sure why it doesnt work. In config.json I changed it so the rk-1 gives 20 ergo and -8 recoil. Ingame its +5 ergo -4 recoil. Why?

Check there is another RK-1 Foregrip. RK-1 B-25U mount is different.
