I must be stupid or not very observant. I NEVER realized that you lost stamina when getting shot. LOL

It sucks donkey, I hate that mechanic so much. If anything, the adrenaline you get when getting shot at basically makes you gain x3 power and stamina if you’re trained. Some people turn into an athlete.

i feel like its kinda weird for your character to in fact LOSE stamina when trying to run away from dying, i feel like youd either get a stamina bonus or just no stamina penalty so you can RUN

It’s weird, but its weird because you can get shot in the hand and suddenly have an asthma attack. It’d make sense if you “got the wind knocked out of you” when shot in the thorax or stomach, but that’s just my two cents.
