You are now able to continuously load or unload ammo outside your inventory!
Continuous Load Ammo introduces the ability to load or unload your magazine outside your inventory. Gone are the days of staring at the inventory screen while topping up!
Features
- Freedom: Walk freely while waiting for your magazines to top up or unload
- Realism and balancing: The ammo and magazine should only be in reachable places, this includes your vest, pockets, and secure container. Your walking speed will be limited while loading ammo outside the inventory and pulling your weapon out will cancel loading
- Intuitive controls: You can cancel loading by clicking the
left/right mouse buttons. Ability to quickly load your magazine using a keybind - Quick loading: You can quickly load ammo from outside the inventory by using the keybind
K. By default, this loads the best penetrating ammo for your current weapon into a magazine in your inventory. While holding this keybind,mouse scrollwheel up/downto choose which ammo to load into a magazine - Configurable: Configuration is available in the BepInEx configuration manager
Reachable Places
- When loading through the inventory (drag and drop or context menu), reachable places include magazines and ammo in vests, pockets, and secure containers, and also in any nested containers found inside them
- When using quick load, reachable places include only magazines and ammo inside vests, pockets, and secure containers, NOT including nested containers
Configuration
In the configuration manager (F12)
- The speed limit, as a percentage of the walk speed, set to the player while un/loading ammo. Default is
30% - Allow un/loading ammo outside the inventory only when Magazine and Ammo is in reachable places. This includes your Vest, Pockets, or Secure Container. Default is
true - Do not interrupt un/loading ammo when switching inventory tabs (maps tab, tasks tab, etc.) Default is
true - Key used to load ammo outside the inventory. Default is
K - When using Quick Load, choose ammo that has the highest penetration power, else prioritize the same ammo in the weapon’s magazine. Default is
true - When using Quick Load, notify the player of the ammo being loaded. Default is
true
Known Issues
- Some keys do not work when set as the hotkey. For now, you may use the default
Kkey, or set another key that works for you - Touching a barbed wire while loading can conflict with the speed limits set by this mod.

Love the mod. For constructive future help: there’s a glitch where if you are reloading and try to use Food, the food will not increase water/energy levels.
If the bullets to be loaded are different from those in the magazine, the loading will be automatically interrupted
I just tested it again! I use the mouse side buttons! Make sure that any shortcut key in the game is available, and then change the MOD shortcut key to that one! You can modify it to take effect! But if it’s a shortcut key that hasn’t been set in the game! It won’t take effect! So I used the shortcut keys of VOID to change this!
My English is not good. Using machine translation! I found that this shortcut key must be a shortcut key bound in the game! For example, if I change the shortcut key to Y, there will be a corresponding shortcut key for Y in the game! You can successfully change the ammunition! If there is no shortcut key for Y in the game, it will have no effect!
all good but i up to 60 70% and the speed stay same
After updating to version 1.1.1, the shortcut keys for loading ammunition no longer work, and changing the shortcuts has no effect.
Keep getting the notification “NO AMMO OR MAGAZINE FOR THE CURRENT WEAPON” when try toload pressing the “K” key depite having both.
Since now this mod can load multiple various stacks of ammo in raid, is it possible to add a feature to load magazines using a ammo preset just like out of raid in the stash?
getting a bug where i can’t sprint at all for the rest of the raid after topping off a mag. not “hands-busy” bug, but just stuck in the speed of movement that’s locked while loading and walking
Fantastic mod, but have noted an issue. Using a Spear (which while a 6.8 cal gun, uses a 7.62 magazine), and an M1A which uses 7.62 cal ammo, if I use the quick load, will load the 7.62 into the mags I use for the Spear.
I note that there are some defaults, which I would love as workarounds, but think they will also not work right.
It will prioritize highest pen, or what is already in the mag. So, if I were to leave a single 6.8 round in the mag (47 pen) in, I suspect it will still load the 7.62 because the rounds of that I have for my sniper are 65 pen.
Any thoughts?
