The QBZ-97 (short for Infantry Rifle Type 97) is a bullpup automatic rifle manufactured by China. It’s the 5.56mm NATO export version of the QBZ-95, widely used by the Chinese military with its 5.8x42mm cartridge.
This reliable, cost-effective, and fun-to-shoot rifle is popular among armed forces in Southeast Asia and firearm enthusiasts worldwide. Although banned in some regions, you can now wield it in Tarkov!
- Model and sounds sourced from New World Interactive’s Insurgency: Sandstorm.
- Animations are tweaked versions of ASH-12’s to accommodate the AR-style magwell.
1. Unzip the downloaded files.
2. Drop the mod folder in to the spt directory.
3. Launch the game.
4. Visit Mechanic’s shop or the Flea Market to find the rifle and its parts.
- When reuploading or sharing this mod, please clearly indicate the author or source.
