CONTAINER SIZES, ITEM RESTRICTIONS AND NESTING CHANGES

MAKE PROFILE BACKUPS BEFORE UPDATING!

Containers have been resized and re-balanced in this version. If you are upgrading from v4.2.x and have items stored inside any of the affected containers (Gear Box, Mod Case, Small Fridge, Small Toolbox, Wooden Box), or have nested containers - you MUST empty those containers before updating. Failing to do so will result in profile corruption and/or item loss.

If you didn’t, and are now sweating - you have 2 options:

1. restore a profile backup and revert to CNN-Containers v4.2.2, empty affected containers, and update to v4.3.0.
2. restore a profile backup and change the size values for containers in the config to match the old values before starting the server, empty affected containers and revert the config to it’s defaults.

Balancing Changes

• Containers are now tiered by trader loyalty level instead of all being LL1.
• Pricing, grid sizes, and flea prices adjusted to create meaningful progression.
• Values can be adjusted for all containers via the reworked config system.
• Wooden Box now prevents nesting (can’t put wooden boxes inside wooden boxes).
• Gear and Wooden Boxes are excluded from Item and THICC cases, all other CNN cases are allowed.

Onyx Changes

• Onyx now inherits Kappa’s exact grid filter (19-entry allow-list + 112-entry exclusion list) instead of a simple allow-all-minus-weapons. Matches real secure container behavior.
• Added second barter trade: Desecrated Kappa + dollars (in addition to regular Kappa + dollars)
• Onyx supports extraFilters and extraExcludedFilters from config
• Onyx supports name/shortName/description overrides from config
• Fixed OnyxHandbookParentId to match Kappa’s actual handbook category

Bugfixes

• Fixed bots spawning with empty secure containers.
• Fixed some rigs and not accepting items.
