Using this mod with Eye Relief Tweak unfortunately causes flickering when ADSing.

This happens when your config settings (for the mod) don’t match your game settings. i.e. You’re running DLSS Quality in game but your config setting for the mod is set to DLSS Performance.

just wanted to let you know when using this mod, it causes a flicker on woods (only woods haven’t noticed it anywhere else). When scoping, it flickers distant grass textures (grass / textures disappear for literally a millisecond lol).

FSR 2.2 = off

FSR 3.0 = off

Native - no sampling

TAA= Standard

Tested on a RX7800XT - medium textures. All the “proper” settings for optimization.

100% this mod (nothing conflicting), I simply had mod enabled tested, then disabled via bepinex and once disabled, flickering stopped.

Other than that, great work on this mod! Definitely reduces choppy frame dips when scoping in!!

Thank you for your impressive work and hope you find the feedback useful

When I use this mod I get sporadic black flickering in my surrounding textures. This is *not* connected to me aiming, it’s something different. I can sit still and do nothing, and occasionally all textures flicker to black for a split-second.
I do have Amand’s Graphics installed, but I am not using SurroundDOF or Motion Blur. I do not use any FSR or DLSS. I use TFAA (also tested TFAA High) AA.
It feels like something the bots do triggers the flicker, but I can’t tell what, and it’s really sporadic, like once every few minutes and then sometimes nothing for 20 minutes. It’s really weird, but it started only after installing this mod, so I am positive it’s this. But how, no idea. Any ideas?

Well, disregard, this is caused by Questing Bots. Which I installed at the same time, and never would have figured to be the culprit. Currently a known issue with QB. My bad, sorry. 😅

If your game has DLSS enabled, you need to set the DLSS settings of the MOD to match it. This will solve the problem of the screen going black when aiming.

If you set DLSS/FSR mode in MODE MENU same as your DLSS/FSR settings IN GAME this mod literally does nothing.

Black screen was present in original mod as well:

Known issue (idk how to fix it so far, it’s beyond my capabilities

- Not compatible with SurroundDOF option in Amand’s Graphics

- Not compatible with Motion Blur option in Amand’s Graphics

- When using FSR2/DLSS and entering in optical sight, the screen will blink

- Not compatible with FXAA anti-aliasing

Personally, i use TAA with 66%, no black screen, better image quality, same performance as FSR 3. I have almost no difference in fps compared to FSR 3 Quality in game and Ultra Performance in mod on GTX 1060 3gb.

so that it is, i see

Huh? So wait, I should not be using same FSR in mod menu as the one I have enabled? What? What to use, then?

Odd. Thought it is a “fix” for fps dropping catastrophically when aiming down scopes (PC has ancient GPU, but good CPU). But after installing the mod, not only there is seemingly no change to fps at all, but now every time I aim, screen becomes black for a split second, as if I was blinking. Maybe I did something wrong, but had to deinstall the mod

Youre CPU bottlenecked, your cpu can only do so much with an older gpu

I am not really bottlenecked? Like, CPU is not used even by 50%, I think

Anyways, GPU is pretty damn old (1660 Super), so probably can’t do much even with the mod

SPT tends to use physical cores for processing. If your CPU is maxing out a couple of cores only but is barely using others, it will show total CPU usage as a percentage (50% in your case) then you may still still be bottlenecked.
Use CPU-Z or similar to track individual core usage.

I am already doing that by default in MSI Afterburner, none of the cores are hitting 100%. My GPU is often bottlenecked, though, but it is old
