This download is externally hosted.
Always scan for viruses.

IT’S A RESHADE. PUT IT IN THE GAME’S MAIN DIRECTORY. DON’T PUT IT IN A SUBFOLDER. IF YOU PUT IT IN A SUBFOLDER YOU WILL NOT GET SUPPORT.

There’s nothing really special here. It’s a reshade preset that focuses purely on cinematics and looking pretty. Press Home to open the ReShade menu, press End to toggle the ReShade preset on/off.

Mods that I strongly recommend using with this preset:

Hollywood FX

Amands’s Graphics

does this increase GPU or CPU usage?

ReShade is GPU, but there shouldn’t be a noticeable difference in performance.

to install reshade

put this file (OUTSHADE) in your SPT folder. the one with SPT launcher/SPT Server

download reshade 6.3, afaik later versions wont work with EFT

install reshade and when you get to the screen that says choose effects click browse down at the bottom. navigate to your SPT folder and click on OUTSHADE. then click next to install.

All the used effects from this preset will be downloaded and installed.

play game.

This reshade is built for 6.5+ and comes with ReShade pre-installed.

Just follow the instructions I gave.

oh dang you shared the dll files ? generally that is discouraged. their TOS even say not to do that. might be okay here (not sure other places) I know on nexus and moddb its a no-no.

As far as I’m aware, ReShade doesn’t have terms of service since they are not a service. The software is also open source. I have never seen any documentation anywhere on the internet saying you’re not allowed to share pre-installed ReShade. I also have never seen any documentation from ModDB or Nexus saying you can’t do that.

Can I please see where it’s discouraged? Because directly from the website I’m seeing a guide that shows you how to manually install ReShade using the DLL file.

this link post by ganossa (reshade developer)

specifically this quote

However, the ReShade Framework needs separate handling because I’m not the author of any of the shader files it comes with. Those were written/ported by CeeJay, Marty McFly, LuciferHawk/Ganossa, Ioxa, JPulowski and others. At least two of them asked to not reupload their work anywhere else. What this means is that one should only upload the .cfg files (the actual preset) to external sites and ask users to head over here to download the rest of the ReShade Framework. Similar to how it’s handled for ENB presets, where you have to link to the ENB site for download too.

However, following this development the past few month, we decided to establish a few basic rules which you need to comply with when distributing presets or shader additions**::**

Your personal distribution may only include

**A -your modified configuration files (.cfg in the \ReShade folder)

**B -your personally implemented shader files

I’m just making sure because I have also made a ReShade preset that I want to post but I’m restricted to using 6.3

I’m actually rereading the EULA and it specifically says you can distribute the DLLs, just not the framework.

“The EULA only counts for ReShade itself, which is the ReShade32.dll and ReShade64.dll, nothing more. Those I am the author of and I grant everybody to distribute them as they wish, as long as credits are given.”

That being said, if I am asked to alter the ReShade to exclude the DLL files, I will do so and people will have to just use 6.3 and install it themselves.

Does this go into BepInEx or user/mods folder?

  1. Server mods go into user/mods folder

Confused as well. It’s listed under [Server mods] which would then mean \user\mods\“mod-folder-name”\ with a package.json file, but the .zip is not showing that. Knowing where to put these files/folders, or having the .zip already have them in the required folder structure to be unzipped in the main game folder would be helpful

when I put it in user/mods/ folder the server tells me it should go to Bepinex/plugins folder but still can’t activate it

I guess it’s my fault for assuming people know how to install a reshade preset. Everything goes into the game’s main directory. Do not put it in a subfolder. It’s not a mod.

all these mods just for the game to look like it should’ve always looked without mods (i love when you guys have to do bsg’s job 👍)
