This is a UI mod with few nice features:

  • Layout Changes: A few menus have been “refreshed”. Mostly deactivating or transforming UI elements.

  • Map on Taskbar: You can add a button to the taskbar that brings you right to the map. (as a PMC.)

  • Clock Widget: A clock can be added to your inventory screen. The clock can be set to raid time or system time. The clock is automatically compatible with Immersive Day Night Cycle.

Other Features:

  • Option to skip Raid Settings and Insurance screen.
  • Option to switch background scenes per map. (i.e. loading into Woods will set the Woods theme. Loading into Factory will set the Factory theme.)
  • Option to show game through the raid-pause and settings screen.
  • Option to permanently disable the Quick Slots HUD. (Will still show grenade/mag swap menus.)
  • Option to disable the Stance Silhouette.
  • Option to disable Group Widget from taskbar.
  • Option to show the hideout when in the main menu. (This will automatically load the hideout. Still in beta. While fairly stable, it does not have all the features I want.)

Please Note!

  • This mod was designed in 16:9 aspect ratio. Some UI elements may be misplaced in widescreen. Please report anything weird and I will do my best to fix it.
  • Some changes to the raid loading screen only work in English. (for now)
  • Designed along with Moxo Pixel’s Main Menu Overhaul. There should not be any direct conflicts, but unintended behavior may occur with the background plane. Please report anything weird.
  • If skipping Raid Settings and Insurance, do not hit ESC at the Raid Confirmation page. Use the taskbar or else be cursed with a double menu. It’s does not require a restart though, just navigate through the menus again.

My continued motivation for new features is directly related to how many reactions and comments this gets, so don’t be shy.

Don’t forget to react to all your other favorite mods!

Very good mod and except for the Borkel-incompat you already mentionend where the hideout doesn’t show up as the background, I don’t have any issues running it on a heavily modded headless setup 40 raids in 👍

is this compatible with Menu Overhaul?

Love the mod.

I was looking for a way to remove the annoying quick bar at the top and you’re the first to do it. It’s so much cleaner. I want to play with no hud so If you could give an option to remove the voice key at the middle bottom left, the ammo check notification and also the zeroing each time you aim that would be perfect for recording videos.

I am also having the Ready button greyed out as mentioned but disabling the Raid window in your config solves it for now.

Thanks! And yeah, that sound doable.

I’m not sure what exactly is conflicting, but when using this mod I can’t enter a raid as the “ready” is greyed out. If I turn off the setting that gets rid of the pre-raid settings screen, I can click ready after clicking next to get to the pre-raid settings menu and insurance, but clicking ready causes an error (says I can’t match) and then throws me back to the main menu. If I just keep clicking next it takes me to the same screen it does as when the mod is skipping the pre-raid settings and insurance screens: I see my character, the time below him and no button at all saying ready (I’ve explained this awfully, so I’ll attach a screenshot when I get a chance to take some later today). Also, using the hideout background for the main menu seems to just load me straight into my hideout, and exiting it puts me on the normal main menu - when in the hideout, it’s just as if I had clicked hideout from the main menu, there are no menu options there.

Apart from UIFixes I’m not sure what could be conflicting with things, but you’ve already said in another comment that it’s compatible. Judging by the other comments I’m fairly certain at least one of the mods I’m using may be causing an incompatibility, because everyone else seems to not have any issues.

Thank you for the report. I see what is happening with the Ready button. I will fix this, but for now the “Skip Pre-Raid Menus” option will not work if you do not have FIKA.
As for the Hideout not showing in the Main Menu, this is a mod conflict I have not yet tracked down. I see this on my heavily modded install, but not on my dev install with all the other UI mods. Seeing your client mods helps though. I should be able to compare and isolate the conflict.

Awesome, can’t wait! When I was messing around with it last night, I wasn’t able to get it to work properly even with the “skip pre-raid menus” option turned off, but I’ll try again today just on the off chance that I was doing something wrong on my end - I don’t think I properly restarted the server between changing that setting.

The server won’t need a restart when changing that option, but your game client probably does.

I was certain I did restart my client, but maybe I didn’t? It was pretty late when I was messing with stuff. Either way, can confirm it’s working for me now after turning it off and restarting
The loading screen when you’re waiting to load in is VERY nice

It’s Borkel’s NVG that are soft incompatible with the Show Hideout In Menu option. I will look into it.

Figured I’d write here instead of making a new comment, but it seems like the clock widget has a soft incompatibility with Raid Overhaul. I have my Raid Overhaul set to “infinite” raid length, and the raid time is tied to my system time. If I set this mod to display the time in-raid, it for some reason just shows 03:00:00. If I set it to system time, it of course shows my system time (which is also the raid time, unless I choose the “night” times, in which it’ll be 12 hours off), but it also doesn’t update by the second (not sure if it’s supposed to?) so when I go into my inventory it will show 10:45:36 and will stay that way until I navigate away from the menu showing the widget and going back to it.

It’s not a huge deal, I can just press O in-raid to see the time because of Raid Overhaul, but figured I’d make you aware

Been playing with this mod and absolutely love the changes, especially the deploying screen not having the overlay and letting me see where i’m gonna spawn!

Thanks! Yeah me too. That was actually an unintended effect from something else I was attempting, but I liked it so much I had to lock it in as a feature.

Thank you so much for creating this mode. I was wondering if you could take a look at my game screen? It looks like this on my end. (I used Gemini AI for the translation. Please excuse me if it sounds awkward.)

Hi, your screenshot appears to look as it should. With the Layout Changes option enabled, the background of the Hideout area menus becomes hidden.

Some image previews would be nice! i also assume this mod is imcompatible with other UI changing mods like WTT Main Menu overhaul?

please read the description of mod pages you come across if youre interested in them

Images would be nice, indeed.

While I saw the menu overhaul being mentioned in the description, I’m more interested in compability with UI Fixes, Game Panel Hud, and Dynamic Maps.

The site wasn’t letting me upload images earlier. I may try again at some point.
It is compatible with all those other UI mods.
