How to use?

  1. Simply unzip the archive anywhere and run the .exe file
  2. After running it, you’ll need to obtain an API TOKEN (read-only permissions are required). here https://forge.sp-tarkov.com/user/api-tokens After logging in, the main interface will appear.
  3. Next, copy the link to the mod you want from SPT-FORGE (example https://forge.sp-tarkov.com/mod/791/sain-solarints-ai-modifications-full-ai-combat-system-replacement), paste it into the “mod url” text field, and click the “Add” button.
  4. ???
  5. PROFIT!!!

The tool was not intended for open source release, so the current interface may seem unfamiliar.

The current build is only for Windows x64. The app can be built for Mac or Linux if needed. Let me know in the comments here or on GitHub, and I’ll try to build it.

When you double-click, the program does not open from the tray.

Yeap, it’s bug by vuetron template,I haven’t found a way to fix it yet.

Anyway to “expand” the application, right-click on the tray icon -> “Show App”

I tried to use this and Win 11 quarantined it as it says its a Trojan, specifically: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml

Windows Defender i gues? This idiot is afraid of any .exe files.

Anyway, my app is built on Electron; it’s essentially a web app wrapped in an .exe.

yes its was, thing is if i extract the archive within the app (app-64) and run the .exe thats there its fine, not sure if the 3 .dll files in the root of the portable app are triggering security measures? app ran fine without those .dll files by the way, im sure this isn’t news to you but hoping these comments will reassure others its not malware.

You can also add an audio notification about updates, and automatic verification in the settings, for example, every hour or three. One of the update buttons is superfluous, IMHO. Let him check all the mods.

I completely forgot, the program should also be minimized to the tray by the clock. To stay there and check for timer updates.

Nothing happens when the program starts. This is to avoid overloading the API with unnecessary requests. The user must initiate the update themselves.

Your idea is clear to me. I’ll try adding a separate window with the change history. That is, if a mod has been updated, it will be listed there, making it easy for the user to find the latest changes.

That’s right, here’s an example, the Try To Act Human (SAIN Preset) mod was recently updated, version 2.0.0 became 3.0.0. Your program just changed the version from 2 to 3. But it didn’t show that the mod was updated and it needs to be downloaded again.
