v1.0.1 - Add Global Bot Limit and Boss Spawn Control (#1)

New Features:

  • Added GlobalBotLimit config option to set hard cap on bot counts
  • Added BossSpawnChancePercent config to adjust boss spawn rates
  • Boss spawn control only affects actual bosses (Tagilla, Killa, etc.)

Changes:

  • GlobalBotLimit: Set to 0 to disable, or specify max bot count to override multipliers
  • BossSpawnChancePercent: Default 100% (normal), supports 0-200+ for custom spawn rates

Pulse is a simple bot wave generator for SPT that lets you customize bot spawning behavior through an easy-to-edit config file.

Features

  • Adjust PMC and Scav group sizes
  • Scale bot populations with min/max multipliers
  • Control assault wave counts
  • Set PMC difficulty levels
  • Debug logging option

Configuration

Edit config/config.json to adjust settings:

  • MaxPmcGroupSize: PMCs per group (default: 3)
  • MaxScavGroupSize: Scavs per group (default: 3)
  • BotCountMultiplierMin/Max: Bot population scaling (default: 1.5 - 2.0)
  • AssaultWaveCount: Number of assault waves (default: 3)
  • PmcBotDifficulty: Choose easy, normal, hard, or impossible (default: normal)
  • Debug: Enable debug logging (default: false)
  • BossSpawnChancePercent: Spawning percent chance of bosses in raid
  • GlobalBotLimit: Overrides the multiplier value. set to 0 to disable

excelente amigo funciona de 10.elimine sain con los preset de twich eso si xq al jugar como scav los pmc no espamean.de resto 10..solo falta la implementacion con bepinex y te haces el mejor mod porque probe muchos y lo que hacian era comerte rendimiento..exelente buen trabajo

quita todos los mods que modifiquen spawn incluidos sain xq epende de bigbrain unda es un generador de spawn asi como onda y otros

si usas sain bigbrain y algun otro generador o modifocador de ia se bugea quita el hallowin y se soluciona o coloca desde el sain los bots en modo vanilla

It would be good to limit the general spawn to a certain number. I’ve used other generation mods, and all they do is consume resources even if you limit the entire map to 10. But without mods, PCM keeps spawning and also consumes a lot of resources. I’ll try this one and see how it goes.

From what I’ve seen, the waves have to be set during raid setup. I can add a “bot limit” number and what you can do, is just set it to 1 wave. That will be added to the next update.

yes, that would be perfect, a limit or spawn points, because the load on the CPU becomes ridiculously unplayable. The game starts at 60fps and after 10 minutes, due to so much PCM loading, with only 10 PCMs it drops to 24fps.I’ll keep testing both with and without Sain to see what mistakes I encounter.And if you make it compatible with the Bepinex plugin, you’re screwed because there aren’t any mods here that really do the job well, and if they do, they just make the game even bloated. thans

with a lot of mods already doing it (like SVM), I think it would be duplicated work. That being said, I can look into adding it in for the next version.
