one of my favorite mods has always been Leaves’ Progressive Container

that doesn’t work with 4.0, so i made my own without any coding experience. welcome s3til’s craftable containers. it’s the same concept, but with my own code and recipes using the WTT library

features:

-craft containers (wow)

-fully customizable in db/CustomHideoutCrafts/[[Containername]].jsonc

recipes are as follows by default (without listing specific items bc im lazy)

  1. waist bag -> alpha @ lavatory 1
  2. alpha -> beta @ workbench 2
  3. beta -> epsi @ workbench 2
  4. epsi -> theta @ intel 1
  5. theta -> gamma @ medstation 3
  6. gamma -> gamma+ @ workbench 3

6b. get the kappa from collector

  1. kappa -> kappa+ @ intel 3

recommended mod pairings (aka also what i play with):

SVM to change containers to be different (gamma and gamma eod, kappa and kappa desecrated, etc)

SVM to add a waistbag purchase to ragman 1

profile modifier to give yourself a waistbag at the start

profile modifier to give yourself The Collector at the start

any problems and i guess lmk and ill try to fix it ive literally never coded anything before so this was all taken in chunks from WTT and SPT documentation

alpha -> beta @ workbench 1

this is incorrect, you have set it to require workbench 2, just thought I’d let you know.

SVM to add a waistbag purchase to ragman 1

There does not seem to be instructions for how to do this within SVM, could you please provide instructions on the mod page? Thank you! :)

That would indeed be very nice. But make the price super expensive or something to reflect on the fact that it’s extremely hard to find in raids.

its new in advanced features for svm something like

Ragman:RUB:10000:5732ee6a24597719ae0c0281:1

should do a sale for 10k at loyalty 1 but i haven’t tested this extensively bc i prefer just giving myself one

Perfect, thank you! Yeah I was aware of the function, but I didn’t know the syntax. :) Much appreciated!

Sorry to bother you with something that’s rather self explanatory;

“Ragman:RUB:10000:5732ee6a24597719ae0c0281:1”

I could theoretically replace the ID with whatever item I want? And the number “1” on the end is how many it has in each reset? I tried your code last night so I now have the pouch and it worked fine.

It’s okay to upgrade to 4.0.6 mate. Just download the manual files from their Github, drag, drop and replace. You wont notice anything weird. It’s better to be on the latest anyways since new mods is coming as a storm.

Some people very specifically do not upgrade to that version as it introduces changes from Tarkov 1.0 which were not present in Beta 0.16 (the changes to meds) and wish to stay on the state of 0.16 as long as possible. So limiting the mod to 4.0.6 (unless there are specific technical reasons why it couldn’t run on 4.0.4?) feels needlessly punishing. :( Just FYI.

Oh yeah, dang… I mean, I’m fine with the changes as I run it now. In my experience in runs so good that I don’t wanna experience beta ever again. But to each their own of course. Theoretically, this mod should be a drag and drop into 4.0.4. Worse case scenario, it doesn’t work. And if it breaks something in the profile, go to SPT\user\profiles\backups and copy it to profiles folder.

I actually don’t know if it doesn’t work on 4.0.4 myself, I updated to 4.0.6 and use the Medical Modifier mod to revert the meds changes to back what they were before 1.0 😅 I assumed from the message being posted at all that it doesn’t work in 4.0.4 for some reason, so… if it does work, my bad.

You’re probably right. I have not been able to since I just started a new profile so I wont be able to test either version. But yeah. I did notice something though, unconfirmed. Last night, 70-90 fps on Customs. With this installed, 50-60. I remove the mod and it goes back to 70-90. I’m not gonna report on it because I simply don’t care that much for the pouch, but if anyone else can confirm we’d know that something is amiss.

Did a run on Customs to check, no drop in performance on my end. Maybe a weird cross-error with another mod for you? 🤔

Unfortunately I can’t reproduce the performance issues–this is probably due to a different mod

Must be. Oh well, too many mods to check. I’ll wait for Profile Editor to drop and see if I can’t add the Like pouch to my stash.
