For when this is usable again, is it fine to set the values to 0, instead of .1 as most seem to do?

It should be, yes. There’s a function in the mod to prevent anything from going all the way to 0, as 0 breaks things. It instead bottoms out at (If I recall) 0.001.

But it may be a while before it’s upgraded, as I haven’t been able to remove some of the new inertia components.

where to rewrite numbers？

put the mod in ur user/mod folder. then open the mod. open config and i think everything is set to 1.3. change to what u like. i set mine to 0.1.

Thank you SOOO much for this mod!

I played so long with inertia that I even started to “like” it. But after testing this mod (setting config to 0.1) its like drinking cold water after being 3 days in the desert.

If anyone wonders: it works for 2.3.1 !!!

One small (dumb) question:

Do PMCs and Scavs also use intertia? Or is it only something the player has to deal with? I was wondering if lowering it for me also buffs the bots.

Some of the variables related to inertia can affect them (In my testing I made them glitch horribly a few times), but I don’t believe this mod’s particular changes will.

Hey Fin!

I played now for a while and this mod is awesome!

I got only one bug(?) so far.

If I try to use the sidestep (Alt+Q) my character bugs out and starts moving sideways in short bursts (like he does the sidestep but then instead of stoping he does it again and again). Sidestep to the right is bugfree. I dont even know if its this mod our default Tarkov, I havent played Live Tarkov in a while to be able to tell.

EDIT: I pinpointed the problem: If I set:

“lean_SPEED_mult”:1.3,

to

“lean_SPEED_mult”:1,

It works again without any problems.
