The quests will be given by Fence (this is configurable)

Installation requirements

Custom Quests (>= v3.2.0) should be installed.

This mod add 2 real repeatable quests (not daily quests) for fence trader:

  • Kill contracts: kill 10 guys and earn money
  • Dogtags collector: give 10 dogtags and earn money + 1 GP coin + increase fence loyalty (also called scav karma).

Real repeatable quests means once you completed a quest, you can restart it directly.

Configuration

In config/config.json file:

  • kill contracts and dogtags collector quests can be disabled independently
  • number of needed kills and needed dogtags are configurable (these are the requirements to complete the quest one time)
  • rewards are configurable (xp, money, gp coins)
  • the trader who gives you a certain quest (work also with modded traders)
  • a target field for kill contracts can be “all”, “pmc” or “scav”

I’d just like to say that I’m really waiting for the update. I’m using Path, and this was my way of upgrading Fence in the previous version. This mod is not forgotten, and I don’t want to leave it behind!

As soon as I release PTT v6, I’ll work on migrating Custom Quests to 3.10 (so Baba Yaga + all 3.8 and 3.9 custom quests will work)

Hey Trap! Would it be easy to add a config option for repeat quest delay. So there could be an option to have a certain amount of time pass before the quest gets offered again if desired. It could default to no amount of time ofc.

I personally feel it would be a little more immersive that way, instead of Fence just repeatedly asking me over and over again to kill more PMCs xD

Hey there, why I love the idea, it will be complicated to implement such a feature in custom quests mod. (the code for repeatable quests is already quite a mess)

I won’t work on something like that right now since it’s not my priority but the idea is quite good. maybe in a future refactor of the code if it’s something that could be easily doable but I can’t guarantee that.

Ah, no worries at all then. If it becomes easier with a refactor, I’d love to see it but I’m glad you’re keeping your priorities straight! For now I can put self imposed time limits on it anyways xD

Taking a closer look, I don’t this it’s an incompatibility with other mods (In doubt, try just Custom Quests and Baba Yaga and see if it works)

I think you messed-up at some point with your spt installation, some locales are missing in your SPT\_Data/Server/database/locales/\* directory.

Retry on a fresh spt installation.
