Auto Profile Backup

Backup your profile automatically

mod is disabled by default, check out the config file

  • Auto Profile Backup when (Configurable)
    • Game Start
    • Raid Start
    • Raid End
    • …maybe more
  • Prevent profile’s filename error by auto rename
    • You don’t have to rename the backup file
      select backup file then drop into /user/profiles folder
  • Maximum Backup Per Profile (Configurable)
  • Auto-Backup path: %SPT%/user/profiles/Autobackup/
  • Backup file format: %Event%-%ISO Timeformat%.json
    (Example: onRaidStart-2022-08-30T161622490Z.json)
Installation
  • Extract zip and place Lua-AutoProfileBackup folder into %SPT%/user/mods folder
How to Use
  1. Drag and Drop also edit config.json
  2. Restore backup when you need to rollback

Hey guys,

I have already said and I’ll say again: this mod is great. Unfortunately the author have not updated it to SPT-AKI 3.5.0 yet. As I like this mod a lot, I’ve updated it myself and now it is working perfectly on SPT-AKI 3.5.0. If you want this updated version, you can get it here: Lua-AutoProfileBackup_1.0.3.zip.

Hope you like it.

P.S.: There is no need to say, but I’ll say anyway; the author is free to use and to edit this version I’ve changed in anyway he wants.

This mod is great! Unfortunately this last version (1.0.1) is not working for SPT-AKI 3.4.0 neither 3.4.1. So I´ve made some changes to make it work in SPT-AKI 3.4.1. The link is this: Lua-AutoProfileBackup_1.0.2.zip
Now it is working like a charm on SPT-AKI 3.4.1. I think it works in 3.4.0 too. The author is free to use this version I’ve changed in anyway he wants.
Hope it helps others use this great mod.

Yes, same happens to me as well. It is unfortunately not working atm with 3.4.0+

Not like I’m experienced about this at all but out of hunch, I’ve opened up the mod.js file in “user\mods\Lua-AutoProfileBackup\src” and went through that line by searching “getVersionLabel”

Deleted that whole line and it started working without an issue, did backup a profile correctly and some. Lemme know If I made a mistake by deleting that line but just pointing out heh

It turned out that although it doesn’t give an error when starting the game, afterwards it doesn’t work and creates some errors that can be read in red on the server.

Do I understand correctly, that this works like a autosave option at the server start, raid start and end?

It seems to work that way, but one minor caviat:
onRaidEnd doest not work. It is still before raid save.

Would this help with an issue I’ve had multiple times? My issue is I’ll do a raid for maybe an hour, Once I’m ready to leave I’ll try to but it just sits on a black screen forcing me to close the game losing all loot, Would this save the loot I’ve gathered?

You should check error log and trying to fix it via remove mod, etc.

Mod backup is meaning less before server save the raid.
