ProgramK is a mod that has the purpose of adding additional content to tarkov or even change already existing content.

The point is to overhaul the SPT experience and extend the already existing variety in the game. There is a lot of planned features that will come in the future as a example changing the bot loadouts and so on.

Documentation is a important thing in ProgramK as the mod gets bigger with every update and is evolving beyond my initial thoughts

As I started to add more quests and what not I am thinking in the future to make a specific wiki for the mod, but that will be once there is a lot more content added.

I created a function to create localization for all languages that are in the game right now, but the only language I can translate it is in english. If you wish to translate the mod contact me on discord and let me know! The translation is a fairly easy process just read the InstructionsLocales.txt file that is located in \user\mods\ProgramK\db\locales. If you're facing difficulties let me know

Installation is straight forward, but removing the mod when you have items in your inventory might freeze your profile until the issue is fixed

To install the mod drop the folder called ProgramK into user/mods/ to uninstall the mod just remove the mod from the folder, but make sure to remove any items that are into your profile from the mod.

If you are using a older version of the mod make sure to delete both ATFInterK folder and the ProgramK folder.

Configuration is essential part and will get more attention in the future.

ItemCustomColors - this determines if the newly added items have colored background colors or not
QuestItems - Disabling this will make so the items that are locked by quests will be freely available in the trader's assortment
EnableExtraStockSlots - This will toggle the additional buffer tube stocks module, CAREFUL DISABLING THIS COULD CORRUPT YOUR GUNS/STOCKS IF ANY OF THEM USES THIS FEATURE
DebugMode - debug mode for me, better to not touch

ProfileBackups - toggles profile backups that happen at the start of the server
EnabledStockSlots - this lets you enable/disable any individual stock slot

Q: What versions are supported?
A: As of now all 3.2.x versions are supported
Q: Are items added by this mod accurate?
A: For the most part yes, I am trying to make most items to be accurate but while not wasting unnecessary time on stuff that wont be noticed, but there are still things that are planned to be changed. Some stuff are modified than what is in real life, for example the ammo.
Q: Are you going to add x
A: If you have a suggestion for me to add something I will try my best to do so, the only exceptions if its something I do not think will be a good implementation to the game or something that is just too difficult or that is not possible as of now

The profile backup takes a backup of your profile as soon as the server starts, the function will be expanded in the future for the safety of the user

This feature takes a backup of your profile that you currently started the game in only once per server start, I will add other functions for this feature like backup every 30 minutes or something like that, let me know what you think of this feedback will be heavily appreciated!

The backup folder is located at SPT_FOLDER\user\mods\ProgramK\BackUps, there you should find a folder with your profile id for the sake of explanation lets say your profile id is 123456789, then you should navigate to the folder SPT_FOLDER\user\mods\ProgramK\BackUps\123456789 in there you will find backups of your profile at different time's

To return your profile to a backup you firstly clone the backup file, the format will be something like this 123456789_2022-11-07_2-19-46_PM.json, to get this profile working you will need to rename the file to 123456789.json then you can replace this profile in your user/profile folder and now next time you start the server/launcher it should automatically update.

The file names use the following format:
123456789_2022-11-07_2-19-46_PM.json
123456789 - is the profile ID
_2022-11-07 - is the day the profile got backed up year/month/day
_2-19-46_PM - the time the profile got backed up hour/minute/seconds/ PM or AM
.json - is the file format which you should not change

All you need to do is to leave the profile ID and the file format when renaming the file.

Some buffer tubes do not support multi slot feature

SKS Tapco and other buffer tubes are bugged out
