If you find pistols too recoil heavy, tone them down.
Camera recoil becoming a pain in the ass? Turn it off.
Do you find rifles too easy to use? INCREASE THE RECOIL TO INSANE LEVELS.
This mod allows you to change recoil values for all the weapons in the game globally or by weapon category using a simple config file or the config editor program.
Camera recoil can also be changed with this mod.

Installation
Drop the CreamCheese-RecoilTweaker folder into user/mods/
Presets can be used by copying the config.json file from its respective folder within CreamCheese-RecoilTweaker/presets/, and pasting it into the CreamCheese-RecoilTweaker/config/ folder.
**Compatibility
Ifyou’re using another mod that changes these recoil values, IT WILL CONFLICT.
If you want to overwrite another mod’s changes, please change the filename of the mod in your mods folder to:
zCreamCheese-RecoilTweaker
This essentially puts priority on loading this mod last. As long as the folder is alphabetically last, then it should work! I can’t guarantee that this will work all the time depending on what mods you’re running.
Please note that this mod will alter changes made by other mods if this mod loads last. For example, if you’re running the SPT Realism Mod, you will be changing the recoil set by the mod first, not the default Tarkov values. Hope that makes sense.
Issues
If you’re crashing or getting errors on startup, please make sure that your values always include a 0 before any decimal number.
I.e, “0.5”, not “.5”
if you set values lower than 1, make sure you include the zero before the decimal
“.5” wont work, “0.5” works

This mod was made as I saw that most recoil tweak mods have been left in older versions and/or don’t get anymore support.

Updated for SPT version 3.8.

Added the new preset system with the GUI.
If you want to delete a preset, you have to delete the folder containing the config.json file in the presets folder.
May have released a broken version again.
You can just replace the GUI folder if you don’t want to be copying over your config files again for this update.

The configurator doesn’t apply the changes to the config files though, but changing the file manually works fine

Until author makes an update, you can edit CreamyRecoilTweaker.js and .ts yourselves accordingly.
Convergence is now RecoilReturnSpeedHandRotation
and
CameraRecoil is now RecoilCamera
I don’t think the camera recoil works but I might have done a mistake somewhere. I tested by using the weapons class toggle, and changed the “machine gun” value to different numbers (0.1, 9 and 100)
Then I used an AK-74 and RPK-16 and there were no difference, unless it was very minor change
I did think it might not just be saving, but I changed the recoil on both assault rifle and machine gun to 0.5 and 0.01 and it does change in game
FYI, your GUI is throwing quite a few antivirus flags. I know there have been some issues with people’s mods throwing false positives lately but generally it’s like 1-2 detections on virus total, while your GUI is showing 8 detections on VT in addition to Malwarebytes Pro flagging it…
