A comprehensive SPT-AKI launcher with third party app support and other cool features.
Thanks for sticking around!
IF YOU GET ERRORS, DELETE THESE FILES FROM THE LAUNCHER FOLDER, THEN RESTART THE LAUNCHER:
- options.json
- SPT Mini.json
Information
Features can be found in the Versions section or by simply using the launcher.
Firstly, this tool requires you to:
- Have some reading comprehension
- Organize your SPT folders. Messy is a no-no in these tracts.
Basic guide:
- Extract the folder SPT Launcher somewhere using 7-Zip. I have it on my Desktop.
- Open the folder, then run SPT Launcher.exe. (I suggest pinning it to your start menu.)
- Drag & drop OR browse OR type out the path to an SPT folder (or a gallery of SPT folders).
- Select the server you wish to use.
- Profit.
Quick note: Third Party Apps are primarily controlled via the Third Party Apps.json file. This file can be easily edited via any text editor, but it's wise to use the built-in function for doing so.

New update!
────────────────────────────────
Changelog:
- Added new section "Miscellaneous" for further organization of options.
- Added new window "Mod Viewer" to let you view existing client and server mods, which comes with additional settings.
- Added new config option (developer options) with a "simple mode" toggle for a cleaner interface for the minimalists.
Config Editor
A configurator is now included for a cleaner way to insert existing configuration(s) from, for example, a previous installation without meddling with the rest of the launcher's code. This app will be expanded on in the future.
Mod Viewer
A "mod viewer" has been implemented as inspiration from the new mod viewer in 3.7.0 made by the SPT-AKI developers. At first glance it features a display for your total amount of mods (both client and server mods), but once opened it will list all your current mods as well as let you open any mod that is a folder-based mod. It serves as a navigational quick-hub for all your installed mods.
Developer Options
This section may expand in the future. It currently features a single toggle ("Simple_Mode") which is only manually changed by opening SPT Mini.json and changing its value from false to true. As this is primarily an "extra" option, I won't help with doing this.

Bugfixing mainly, but some other fun stuff.
────────────────────────────────
Changelog (only used with smaller updates)
- Added a profile check when launching SPT-AKI to avoid null errors.
- Fixed profile errors when launching. (specifically Client not authorized)
Summary
Launching should now work as normal and has been successfully tested in debug build with both the Gallery and non-Gallery (multiple folders) environments. There is now also a feature to check if you have a valid profile saved to launch SPT-AKI with to avoid potential null errors caused by not manually selecting a profile in Options -> SPT-AKI Settings.

Several new features and a couple of bugfixes!
────────────────────────────────
Summary
The Options window has received another option. It now lets you cycle through the profiles of the currently selected SPT-AKI server and choose which one you want to play with. Alongside that, the SPT Launcher now bypasses Aki's own launcher completely. This allows you to run Tarkov completely from the proprietary SPT Launcher. Alongside these changes, the Options window can no longer be opened unless an SPT-AKI folder has been selected or browsed to. This is done in order to allow profile fetching without having errors.

Several new features, along with bugfixes and more fun stuff!
────────────────────────────────
Summary
The Options window has been overhauled. It now features a tab-based card-style system which categorizes the Launcher itself, SPT-AKI and Tarkov into their own respective pages. Background threading has increased since 2.4 for further enabled automatic detection to make the fluent experience even more fluent. A preset system has been implemented into Options for those seeking an easy way to configure the Launcher. More performance fixes been added, albeit they're minor but still important. Hopefully they are enough to make a difference.

Stuff changes going forward from 2.4.
These version pages and the GitHub release page will now show the same summary of the changes.
The README.txt that comes with the zip will include the detailed changes.
For those who don't want to read all this below, the README will be easier for you.
────────────────────────────────
Summary
A lot of optimization has been done, and several bugs have been fixed to make the experience fluent.
Several features, such as windowless SPT server and an expanded Options window, have been implemented. The Launcher is now also closer to mimicking Live and should be easy to use as well. On top of this, automatic detection now allows Tarkov closing to close the Aki Server and Launcher automatically.
All in all, several new things have been added and performance should be a bit better because of optimization.

VirusTotal: The usual false positive
A lot of stuff has changed since 1.4, and I have spent several hours bugtesting.
Hopefully there are no major bugs in this version!
New feature: Mod list for client and server-sided mods.
New feature: Custom message pop-up
Potentially implementing server-based mod profiles soon, we'll see.
Changelog:
- Added SPT Realism to the Third Party Apps section, as requested by Djmeowzle#0326
- Added a first-time setup screen for new-user information; it will re-appear on update for refreshing memory.
- Added Right-Click events for the Open server mods and Open client mods buttons; they now cycle between open mods and open modlist.
- Added a custom pop-up window for mod installation and removal confirmation.
- Added the ability to install server mods via either drag & drop or a folder browser; support for client mod installation is not yet ready.
- Added an auto-refresh for order.json on launcher open, Refresh button and mod list open & close (post-3.5 versions).
- Fixed Delete server to actually have red text, signifying it's dangerous....
- Probably something else that I forgot
Changelog:
- Moved a lot of stuff into separate functions.
- Cleaned up a lot of code to be more readable.
- Removed client mod code to keep the launcher clean until I can figure out consistency.
- Finally figured out how to properly commit to GitHub from Visual Studio... yay!
- I've probably forgotten something
For now, client modding is restricted.
This is due to my misunderstanding of how BepInEx plugin loading works.
Server mods:
- Added ability to add mods from browsing folder or drag&dropping zip archives into the window.
- Added ability to remove mods and update the order.json.
- Added ability to open both the mods folder and individual mods.
Client mods:
- Added ability to remove mods, both files and folders.
- Added ability to open the plugins folder; will select the file if the mod isn't a folder
- Coming soon: ability to add mods from browsing folder or drag&dropping zip archives into the window.

VirusTotal: The usual false positive
Preparation for a "miniature" mod manager meant for basic management is underway.
-
Added "Third Party Apps" section; this will include handpicked supported SPT tools and/or apps.
-
Added a reset function to reset the internal memory for the Third Party Apps section.
-
Added compatibility for the SPT-AKI Profile Editor in the Third Party Apps section.
-
Added compatibility for SVM (Server Value Modifier) in the Third Party Apps section.
-
Added a backend check if either of the two aforementioned tools aren't detected.
-
The Profile Editor button allows you to manually search for it if it's not detected.
-
Added a Right-Click event for the Mods section; "Open modloader JSON" has none.
-
Renamed "Clear cache and run SPT" to "Run SPT" to clear up confusion; cache should generally be cleared on start.
-
Stopping SPT via the launcher while it's running will automatically clear the respective server's cache.
-
The order.json file (located in user/mods) for the selected server will update and refresh whenever the launcher is started or Refresh is used.
-
The above point includes a server mod being removed, added or renamed.

Not much here to say, please read the Overview description for info.
Changelog:
- Rewrote the whole tool thanks to Visual Studio who deleted the init code and fucked the whole code generation up. Thanks Microsoft!
- Added a Browse button to select an SPT folder via a dialog. Drag and drop still works.
- Added the ability to auto-select the Options tab if a standalone SPT folder is selected.
- Running SPT will minimize the app to not intrude.
