I’ve ripped out all the bot stuff since it was driving me fucking crazy, but there are still some small performance updates here that I didn’t want to gate behind my other work.

Right now, this optimizes how ambient light is recalculated, as well as stopping the spawning of shells since they’re not really required for a good time, visually.

I’ll add more tweaks as I discover them.

BepInEx shows no mod settings, i’v spent HOURS to figure why.
yes, it’s your plugin. it breaks the SettingSearcher and ConfigurationManager.

Sadly I saw no difference in FPS using this mod.
I did a test using 4K, ultra preset. TAA high. Bots turned off. I stood on top of Shoreline resort on a corner looking at the same spot. My GPU load was 100%.
Without mod: 86fps
With mod: 85fps (margin of error).
Specs: 5800X3D & AMD RX7800XTX

Great job and idea, I hope you can improve the processing of bots, it is very frustrating when a good hardware and everything lags from a few extra bots and at the same time not a single component of the system is not fully loaded. Thank you!

I recently upgraded from a i9 9900K to an AMD 5800X3D probably the best SPTarkov upgrade. Shoreline AI horde mode I’m getting 100fps and my GPU is maxed (that means the AI isn’t taxing my CPU). The AI are definitely CPU cache intensive

It gives you a bit more FPS in your raid by reworking the way ambient light is calculated. I am seeing about 10 FPS more in a raid to what i normally see, even with many bots running around. I do play at 1440p with a fairly powerful PC so YMMV. Hopefully more FPS saving features to come in the future

Client mods like this are really locked to particular AKI versions. Sorry.

any chance to make a backwards comparable one, I really hate this lots of little updates to the versions as so many mods don’t get updated that I really don’t want to play without

I bit the bullet and upgraded from 3.5.3 to 3.5.5 with no issues. Profile transferred over with no problem. All my mods still worked fine even if the version tag was for 3.5.3. You may just need to change the aki version line in the package.json file if it does not say 3.5.5.

Don’t delete your SPT 3.5.3 folder, just update your live game to 22617 and make a new folder for SPT 3.5.5. See how you go and if it actually doesn’t work you can just keep playing 3.5.3.

The slight improvement to FPS is very noticeable. There is no way I would go back after using this mod.
