Out of raid, let's you use the modding screen, inspect and detach/attach weapon mods of weapons that are equipped. In raid, it let's you inspect weapon mods of equipped weapons, and if you have a multitool it lets you detach/attach any weapon mod.

Out of Raid:
You can attach/detach vital parts of weapons that are in your equipment slots (primary, secondary, holster) and use the preset and modding screen.
In Raid:
You can inspect all weapon parts of weapons in your equipment slots, and if you have a multitool and the weapon is not in your equipment slots you can attach/detach any parts. There is a config option to disable the multitool requirement.
