Experimental Amands’ Sense

This mod shows interactable icons in range such as Loot, Containers, and Dead Bodies with additional icons for Kappa Items or Wishlist Items.

Activate Sense key is Double Click F by default.

Colors, Audio, Keybind, Cooldown, Speed, Duration and Radius can be changed by pressing F12

(click somewhere else to leave).

Thanks for the update and for bringing this back! though the previous version somewhat worked with 3.8, nevertheless I’m glad that the proper version arrived.

the pre-release for 2.0 is not feature complete, the hub page was only enabled back so people have a place to report bugs/request features

@Amands2Mello, Since it isn’t feature complete, should i open an issue on github for what i noticed?

I noticed that in so little height difference, the plugin is not able to detect the entity, as i killed a PMC on South Stairs between 3rd floor and 2nd floor, and standing on 3rd floor the dead body is not highlighted due to the height difference.

Are you planning to add a parameter for increase the height search?

In Unity’s term: Increase the Y axis search range.

it is already implemented, press F12 and enable Advanced settings on top

MinHeight set to -5 will allow searches 5 meters below the player

Dear, I have an idea suggestion.
I use another mod called, ODT-Item Info, this add a text icon to the start of the “valuable” items’ name (“★“, “☆”).

Could you add a feature that allows users to filter an array of strings based on whether the items’ names contain a specific substring?

The end result should be that the player (if has the setting enabled) should only see floating tags or colored differently for containers/bodies/lose loot that contains the sub string mentions in the array config.

please let me know if this is a good idea.

Update to my previous request,
Now I noticed there is a color setting for favorited items. For now i will search the text on flea and manually favorite the items i want

Is the size and size of this icon different? I have always been unable to adjust the size of sense icon I want, either the body icon of PMC is too small to see compared with the item icon, or it is too large, and the immersion feeling is completely lost

icons are work in progress some are missing with their bigger versions as I draw those myself

Any chance you could push this update to the mod now?

I had a really rare bug occur and someone on the discord closed and locked my thread just because this one unrelated mod was a “test build” despite it working fine for months now.

This mod is really great, I just wanted it for finding corpses but I have found that it makes the game way more fun to keep it on.

Hey, love your work. This is one of my favorite mods.

I seem to have a glitch where the wishlisted items don’t get “sensed” as being wishlisted. They get sensed as whatever category they’d be in otherwise. Sorry if this was a known glitch or part of the feature-incompleteness you mentioned elsewhere.

Excuse me Sir, i’ve been wondering if i could know a bit more about the option available in the F12 menu, like what is “speed” “intensity speed” “size clamp”, i assume “always on frenquency” mean it ping every X seconds automatically ? How do the mod assume an item is rare for color ? What is the light ?
Does the mod have visible performance impact ? (especially if i were to increase scanning frequency)

Most of those question are far from being essential but there a bit of a lack of documentation (and almost no config tooltip), maybe because it’s an pre-release.

Hi guys, i made a quick fix to get this up on SPT 4.0: https://github.com/Amands2Mello/AmandsSense/pull/20 and https://github.com/Beat2er/AmandsSense/releases/tag/3.0.0 for download. this is no final release/fully tested. Feel free to test this and or suggest changes (via PRs). I won’t test this anymore in the near future, until I decide to move to SPT 4.0 myself. In the meantime have fun guys (and massive thanks and all credits to Amands2Mello)

cool mod, but i don’t know is that a thing or a bug, but i can see rare/valuable loot in containers (container color turns from white to yellow for example), is there any option for turn that off?

Bro, check the Pre-release 2.0.0 github link in the pinned comment above—it says it works with SPT 3.11. I just downloaded and tested it myself, and it does work.

Awesome mod !

I’m using the github version for 3.10, the client crashes consistently every 3-4 raids. I tried looking in my log files but couldn’t find anything.

I tried using only this mod and it still crashes.

By default, does this mod have a logger ? Do I need to activate it ?

I have tried using this mod however the sounds folder is empty so its not allowing me to start any raids, any ideas?

Any Insight on how to get this mod to work. I have Download and Reinstalled multiple times. File has gone to plugins and looks to download properly. But just wont load when the game is launched. All help to rectify would greatly be appreciated. Im talking about the file off github mind you.
