Port of the AXMC bolt-action sniper rifle from the new Tarkov wipe.
A big shoutout to SamSWAT; this mod is based on the framework for his other weapon-adding mods. Also thanks again to vasyliev_m_s for help with testing and checking the translation. Finally, thank you to the SPT devs, who have done pretty much all of the heavy lifting in generating the json entries for everything.
**NOTE**: This weapon is already in the base game if you are running a version of SPT after 3.0.0! No need to use this mod if so.
Installation:
Download the .zip file, extract all, and add the folder MC-AXMC to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. Make sure it is just the folder with all of the contents, not a folder with another MC-AXMC folder inside of it.
You can find the weapon and some of the parts at Jaeger and Mechanic. It should be consistent with live except for the fact that you can buy this gun on the flea market. Figured I would allow it there in case anyone hasn’t unlocked Jaeger 4 yet…. Let me know of any inconsistencies.
Known Issues:
- The flea market price is significantly lower than it should be. This has to do with how SPT generates prices for the flea market, and it isn’t worth it for me to spend time trying to fix it. Also note that in live Tarkov this weapon is not available on the flea market.
- I think the muzzle brake and therefore the suppressor are compatible with the Mk-18 in live but I won’t be adding that here because the assets do not exist in SPT for suppressed Mk-18 shots.
- Loading bullets in by hand leads to them not showing up in the magazine when you check it. Visual bug only, I don’t know if this is an SPT/EFT issue or specific to this mod, but I don’t have plans to fix it.
- According to multiple user reports, this mod conflicts with some features of Fin’s AI Tweaks (FAIT). See comments. I’m not sure which parts of the mod it conflicts with, but in general it seems it doesn’t work for some.
- It has been suggested in the comments by fawll to add the IDs of the guns from my mods to the blacklist in FAIT in order to prevent incompatibilities. You can find those IDs in the mod folder if you open [mod]/database/templates/items.json. An easier way is to look up the gun on tarkov-database and copy the id from the end of the URL.
- Some users also report disabling progressive gear can fix issues with FAIT.

Hey for anyone who’s having issues with this mod not playing nice with FAIT try deleting your current version of FAIT and download version 1.23.1 instead for some reason this mod isn’t playing nice with version 1.23.2a. Hope this helps.

My computer just flagged this mod as a Trojan virus and I have no clue why I have your RD-704 port mod and nothing happened with that so I don’t know what to do help would be nice. If you are wondering what my security is it’s just windows security, I tried it two times same thing happened.
