Special thanks to the SPT devs for dumping the relevant json files required for these mods to work, and for everything else!

Installation:

Download the .zip file, extract all, and add the folder MC-AK12 to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. Make sure it is just the folder with all of the contents, not a folder with another MC-AK12 folder inside of it, else the mod will probably throw an error!

The directory should look like this:

/user/mods/MC-AK12/

and not this:

/user/mods/MC-AK12_X.X.X/MC-AK12/

To try and use with older versions that had the old locale type, make sure to open “config.json” with Notepad, change oldLocales from “false” to “true” (without quotes), save and close the file

Uninstalling:

If for whatever reason you need to remove this mod, make sure you delete any new items that this mod adds from your inventory before you delete the mod folder!

I think it would be enough to make a file corresponding to the handguard in this mode by replacing the parts of the existing AK-12.

It is possible, yes, but it is not a big enough problem for me to spend much time in making one unfortunately. I will see if I can get around to it eventually but sadly I am quite busy these days.

Couldn’t it be possible to create a separate mode for the AK-12 handguard with a tactical rail added to the empty slot on the left?

I can write up how to do it yourself if you want but I believe they don’t come with them in live so I won’t change that in the vanilla mod itself. Let me know if they do come with them in live and if you want me to write up how to do it. Shouldn’t be too difficult.

Did BSG forget to add a slot on the left side of the AK12 Handguard for the RPK rail? its there on the right side but not the left

Though there are two mod_mounts in the bundle itself so they might have just forgotten it in the json for some reason. Unclear. Guess I can test adding that in.

That is the placeholder BSG uses for missing bundles. Try clearing your cache through the launcher and see if that fixes it.

I’ve made clean reinstall from scratch and started a new profile - everything works.

Maybe I didn’t praise enough Tarkov Gods…

Hello, here is the thing, installed your mod at first everything was fine with the weapon. But at some point I noticed that the weapon began to heat up, at first I thought that the bad silencer or the cartridges were not the same. I took off the silencer, changed the cartridges, no, the weapon heats up - and that’s what is strange, I go out into the raid, I saw the bot fired at him 5 times, I go on again, the bot, I shoot again and the weapon has already warmed up red. I changed the AK12 assault rifle to AK74 - and everything is fine, there is no overheating, shoot for at least an hour. This AK12 how to understand the jamb of developers or can it be fixed?

Everything should be the way that BSG made it. I know the weapon barrels and muzzles turn red after you fire them a bit. But there is no reason that this mod would be any different from live Tarkov that I know of.

You have to change this file:

/database/traders/54cb50c76803fa8b248b4571/assort.json

Open it with a text editor, then scroll down to “loyal_level_items” and change “ak12_temp_trade_id_0001” from 3 to 2. Don’t forget to save the file before closing.

hi clear thanks. So, the MC-SVT40 is also your mod - I bought one weapon there, the sight set everything fine, but the sight is not set on the AVT-40, this is how it should be.

The PU scope is not compatible with the AVT-40: EFT Wiki - AVT-40

Hmm ok, thank you nohurry. I feel bad but I do not think I can test on 3.5.5 and frankly I don’t have any more time to try and fix it for older versions.

我重新装了这些mod发现游戏又能正常运行，我也不知道咋回事，单单删了mod重新放进去 。版本还是3.5.5亲测ak12 avt /avt pkm pkp 都正常。
