Installation:

Extract folder in 7z file to your mods folder

Known Issues:

Does not work with anything that overhauls major systems.

The RPD/N is added but has BROKEN animations use at your own risk. RPD/N ADS is broken, you need to trigger an animation(sprinting/toggling tactical device/toggling between scopes) during ads/after ads to allow the character to fire the weapon.

Items are added to the closest existing mastery for now since I don’t know what the id/name of their exact mastery is.

Uninstalling:

If you want to remove the mod make sure to not have any of the added items in your profile before deleting the folder.

Before you cry about the new LPVO being broken, no it doesn’t work properly with variable zoom.

No the guns and ammo don’t work well with realism mod.

And no I won’t be making them compatible.

And no the new SKS model/container isn’t in, neither are the new SKS parts.

And yes the RPD/N is broken, I’ve said so in the mod description.

And no the snow is not in yet but is from SSH’s snow mod and not BSG’s version on live.

User7782, on nexus mods search for “Operation Harsh Winter Visuals”.

It snows, but the snow doesn’t have any snow steps. But you can configure the % of snow chance, the amount of the map you want snow, and snow steps (it takes a bit of performance). But overall it’s a very good mod.

The guns work fine with Realism, including SPEAR if Realism loads after this. Yeah the stats for 6.8 won’t be right but that’s about it

No. Do not use this with 3.8.x+. All the items have already been added and it will cause errors.

Im getting Doges and the other stuff just wont load or show the image of the item. I installed it correctly. I am installing it on a profile I had saved and reloaded.

I got a doge as well with the new armored face mask when an npc wore it but fine when I wore it.

If I just coded a tactical device slot on top of the MCX Spear handguard, would it work like any other in the game? If so, could you point me to the file I need to change for that?

Mod (14.0 content preview-v1.0.3 nexusmodm) is missing package.json

package.json is in both folders. I can’t figure out what’s wrong

I just used the windows 11 standard zip. Its basically saying the folder where the mods are stored needs a package.json file. Meaning that folder is a mod

What other mods are you using.. Realism is not supported by me.

Also make sure the guns load before the other folder in order.json

It was the order! Thank you. Items seemed to be trying to load before Guns, switching round fixed.

I just wanted to say thank you for this. I do not look forward to all the bugs and dealing with the new recoil of the future release so I knew I was going to be on this version for quite a long time, but I really wanted to try out all the new weapons and this is just amazing.
