Special thanks to the SPT devs for dumping the relevant json files required for these mods to work, and for everything else!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am seeing some reports of issues potentially stemming from the missing new bipod mechanics. If you run across any issues with this mod, when reloading or using the gun, try removing the bipod and running without it. Please also report back in the comments!

Installation:

Download the .zip file, extract all, and add the folder MC-M60 to your user/mods/ folder in SPT. Make sure it is just the folder with all of the contents, not a folder with another MC-M60 folder inside of it, else the mod will probably throw an error!

The directory should look like this:

/user/mods/MC-M60/

and not this:

/user/mods/MC-M60_X.X.X/MC-M60/

Uninstalling:

If for whatever reason you need to remove this mod, make sure you delete any new items that this mod adds from your inventory before you delete the mod folder!

Known Issues:

  • I believe the trigger group is a new type of pistol grip assembly to the game, and therefore the icon for it is missing, but it still functions fine it seems like. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
  • There also seems to be some error relating to the “MagazineInHandsVisualController”. If anyone happens to know what is causing this, please let me know. As far as I can tell it is not causing any gameplay breaking issues.

Most likely no, unless you use APBS or ALP and enable the import of modded weapons.

To be honest, I don’t remember if SPT automatically pulls in new weapons for bot loadout generation or if they are hard-coded. I would assume not, but not 100% sure.

okay i only found a scav with a m60 on his back thats why i am asking i never see them using this

i use apbs with modded guns,maybe i will see some pmcs or scav with this gun,i saw some pmcs with m107 and thats really funny because they kill most bots with 1 shot xD the gun is from wtt

Both versions of the M60 do not work on the hideout weapon wall. Please look into this, brother. Love the mod otherwise.. f9e1a4938e226a1a2cf8063956cc55db.png

It is possible, yes, at least I think, but I am waiting for RaiRaiTheRaichu to upload their port of all the weapons so we aren’t both working on the same thing.

Just wanted to second that and also say thanks for making the M60 available for 1.40. Honestly, the modders make this game so much more interesting that vanilla Tarkov. I have a blast with the game thanks to the freedoms you give us

Seems to have an issue regarding reloading bundles when using with Fika when someone tries to join

Happens for both the .50 AE mod as well

Hmmm. I would like to fix that issue but to be honest I would not even know where to start. I have no familiarity with MPT/Fika.

it’s a very common thing with a lot of mods like this. i’d consider just sending this mod to your friend and getting them to run ELBL after putting this mod in user/mods, should work just fine after, my friends and i have been running with the deagle mod doing the exact same thing

Здравствуйте, у меня проблема с модом (хотя, возможно, я просто туплю). Я не могу найти пулемет или его магазины в инвентаре торговцев. Мод отображается как загруженный на сервере, но в игре его как будто нет. Сначала я думал, что проблема в моде Realism, но после его удаления ситуация не изменилась

Possible, yes, however it is not my current priority. I might be able to grab them and any other useful items next weekend if I have the time, but no promises.
