🎮 Quest Overhaul

  • 10 new mega quests to minimize repetitive vanilla quests, improve and intensify game experience, and rewards all around skills levels
  • Flea locked by new quest
  • All daily & weekly quests are now exclusive to ref to replace his arena match quests
  • Prestige linked to the final quest, 1 playthrough that completed all quests gives 25 lvl for all relevant skills
  • If level up prestige, there will be no flea and empty shelf at vanilla traders
  • Progressive difficulty, suits seasoned players for its challenge, also informative and helpful for new players to learn the game more effectively
  • Designed to replace vanilla quests, but also can be play with them together

☯️ New Rule Setting

  • Bot headshot balance: Head HP increases by 1 for every 30,000 XP, up to a maximum of 100 HP at player level 37, avoid to be 1 bullet head eyed by most ammo - from weak ones to strong ones - as we progress
  • PMC bots can use randomly selected boss brains (conflicts with SAIN, disabled by default)
  • No cash or XP rewards from vanilla quest
  • In early game, you can unlock all vanilla quest locked things by complete one new quest
  • In late game, you won’t be able to insure, and all your cash will be wiped if you die
  • Config toggle: all these can be enabled or disabled in the config file

  • Buys everything at handbook price, so you know default value of all items

  • 10个特制任务，精简琐碎重复的原任务，改善和强化游戏体验，并奖励技能等级
  • 跳蚤市场需完成新任务才能解锁
  • 所有每日及每周任务为Ref专属，代替他的竞技场比赛任务
  • 荣誉系统升级条件变为完成新的最终任务，完成全部任务通关可以将所有有用的技能升到25级
  • 升级荣誉后跳蚤市场将永久锁定，所有原商人不会出售任何物品，只能靠战场上获得的战利品

The mod is not working yet due to the inability to deliver items, and we cannot resolve this issue yet because the recommended mods have not been updated to version 4.0.0.

deliver what item? this is a simple mod, don’t have any dependancies. are new items not working?

To deliver items like a hard drive, I initially gave the item to a mechanic, but for an ensign, this item does not reappear.

ohh, you mean handin quest item, right? yeah, it needs a tweak to work properly, i’m working on move other bigger features to 4.0, too many of them, i just totally forgot about it, thanks for feedback~~ will fix it in next update

which download link here? they are all used VirusTotal Result, except latest 3.14 updated one which i can only paste its download link in description directly, bacause i can’t create and publish a new version that is actually older. so if it’s this one, then it must be that this website is blocking any download unless it’s officially published, i guess. just “copy link” instead of clicking it, and download at github. thanks for feedback, i will let everybody know~

using version 4.0.4 for SPT 3.11.4 if you set the config option “EnableNoInsurance” to false and try to launch the game you get an Unhandled /client/game/start Error, this happens even when the mod is installed by itself.

Do you think it would be possible to remove or hide the base quests like Burning Rubber or Shooting Cans? That way we only see your new quests that condense all of them?

unfortunately no, i don’t know anything about fika code, maybe i can do it later days, but now i have to migrate my little mod to 4.0 first, then improve old things and add new things, so it gonna take a while before i have time to dig into fika. sry mate.

but i will keep maintain 3.14 for the time being, if you have any bugs, please let me know.

Only Jiang Hu uses it → delete folder

The latest version seems to break something in the tasks section; every time I go to check the quests, the HUD overlaps all the other menus (gear, health, skills…). It only gets fixed by restarting and then it happens again.I made a backup to a previous version (3.1.1) and it resolves the issue.

roger, i will check it.

quick check and possible fix: there were a big update between this last version and 3.1.1, which is 4.0.0, it reqiures full delete of previous version — includes 3.1.1, you can check 4.0.0’s update guide for the details. it’s very likely the culprit, so just delete ALL 3.1.1 files, then install new version, see if the problem still happens~

hi~ i was planing to update soon, and one of the things added is to auto clear up previous version leftover quests to prevent possible bug, it might help with server red warning;

as the UI bug, i’m not sure yet, here are something we can do:

  1. try move all other mods out of “mods” tempraraly, leave only “Jiang Hu” folder there; move all other things out of “BepInEx\plugins” tempraraly, leave only “spt” folder there. then start game and see if the bug still there.
  2. if you can provide a list of the other mods you are using or a screenshot of “mods” folder, it will help me to identify if it’s a mod conflict thing.
  3. if you can provide more details about WHEN and HOW this bug happens:
  • it happened after you accepted which quest (this mod or other mod’s custom quest all included)
  • did last time(s) it happend in the same or similar situation

and im not sure at all when that UI bug appear, accepting some quest related to factory from Skier i think? and some quests are like unclickable at trader sections (a helping hand from mechanic)

last time i used this mod in a midd wipe with so i did many quests, if u need more feedback i guess its something related with factory quests (skier/mechanic)

  1. which mod added this “USEC 4 factory cleaning II” quest? i downloaded and checked quest related mods in your screeenshot but failed to find it
  2. can you make a screenshot of your loong game inn’s “tasks” screen in its trader interface. it seems none of them is active now in your screenshot of character’s tasks interface
  3. try move “jiang hu” folder to another folder (out of “mods” folder), then start the game and see if it still bugged
  4. try use previous version (3.1.1), see if fixed it like last time

these 4 things will be very helpfull

Hey mate, yesterday I tested doing some things at SPT-AKI Profile Editor like i said (searching on quest’s that https://gyazo.com/69af39ecb273e920f1b6e70458c980b5) and using Skipper mod (to complete quests in game too) just finished mechanic quest a helping hand and now seems to work all good (no hud bug)

im gonna be ready to see if happends again, find which quest can break it again

ok, for the red warning in this screenshot, it’s basically harmless, wouldn’t cause any bug in game, i will try to fix it later, so now you don’t need to worry about it. “a helping hand” quest is a big clue, thanks for the feedback, i will check it out. let me know if it happens again~

i find out why: i have a petch code that will remove vanilla quest “obtainitem” reqirement that use the same quest item of new quest, and “a helping hand” is one of them. but what’s unique about this quest is its next complete reqirements are conditioned up on the deleted “obtainitem” reqirement, so caused a bug. i will fix it soon. thanks for your feedback bro🩷

one question i have, what counts as painkillers in terms of injectors? If it does not say that it removes pain, is that ok for not ending the quest?

yes, anything that removes pain do it by giving us a painkiller effect, so if it does not remove the pain, everything should be ok. but if you are very close to finish the quest, better be safe and don’t use anything you suspect might remove the pain, or double check it at tarkov wiki~
