Several options to make PvE less annoying. Want to go to Labyrinth without using the transit? Now you can queue right into it! Want to make quests less grindy, or less restrictive? Now you can!
This mod contains several options to tweak the PvE experience to be less annoying and more fun.
- Ref Changes: Makes all Ref changes actually PvE, and removes all arena quests (automatically disabled if Acid’s Ref mod is loaded)
- Remove Transit Quests: All transits quests are removed and turned into normal quests.
- Remove Recipes: Removes all redundant recipes that clogs hideout crafting, e.g. arena crates
- Enable Labyrinth: Enables Labyrinth on the map screen, making it more approachable. It still requires the key, like Labs
- Quest Tweaks: Makes some quests less grindy
- Currently: Test Drive Part 2, Test Drive Part 3, Hunter
- Add Recipes: Adds new recipes to the hideout
- Currently: Labrys keycard (requires level 2 Intelligence Center)
- Remove Map Limitations: Removes map limitations from certain quests (e.g. not on Factory)
- Currently tweaks: Punisher Pt. 6, Insomnia, Surv Path - Zhivchik, Surv Path - Eagle-Owl
- Tweak Extracts: Makes certain extracts less annoying (mainly for the use with Fika)
- Currently changes Labyrinth to:
- 5 minutes until it opens, down from 15
- No longer shared and can be reused
- No longer deactivates after 5 seconds even if not used
- Currently changes Labyrinth to:
- Hideout Customizations: Allows you to unlock otherwise unobtainable hideout customizations from events, i.e. Kindergarten and Minotaur room kits
- Both have their own, unique requirements to unlock
Every option can be enabled/disabled in the configuration file. All are disabled by default. I might add suggestions, but I will not change existing options. This was made for me and my group of friends that I play with, and I decided to share it with like-minded individuals.

I will not read any bug reports that does not contain either a log file or a snippet of the error.
Hi, I’m really enjoying the mod, but I have a suggestion. I don’t remember which mod (I think it may have been Better Keys NG), but they had the same issue as this, where every time there was an update it was necessary to change the settings again. The way they fixed it was by having a second config file (configuser.jsonc) on the same folder as the default config, and if that file exists, the mod loads the settings from there, if it doesn’t, it loads the default config file. It would be nice to have something like this here, so that every time there’s an update we could just extract the files and not have to worry about losing settings. It’s not really the end of the world if that’s not possible, but it would be cool. Thank you.
Update incoming
Found a bug with some quests due to hidden conditions. A patch will come soon, just verifying everything. It will work retroactively, e.g. on current profiles.
All mod features are default set to false and must be set to true before they work.
Ref is still giving Arena quests with this mod

i got an error when entering the map i have a picture but it says “ The given key ‘Labyrinth’ was not present in the dictionary.“ and its one that just has an ok option click it and i get booted back to the main menu i do have a labrys keycard in my inventory
