DISCLAIMER

This is a fork of kyoukopan’s Custom First Aid Kits

  • Creates separate medkits that act as containers.

NEW FEATURES

Medkits
  • The fillable medkits now have custom grid layouts to represent the physical shape of the container.
Medical Items
  • Adds new medical items that administer transfusions or injections to replace traditional medkits with full body healing.
  • Reworks existing medical items to offer different functionality or balance.

Most notably:

  • Augmentin now buffs Surgery skill at the cost of Metabolism.
  • Goldenstar now “wakes you up” with a large list of attention-focused buffs.
  • Analgesic painkillers now have a small chance to cause side effects.

CONFLICTING MODS

As this is a near-total overhaul of all medical items, it is not recommended to use other mods that also affect the medical items, i.e. Realism’s medical changes.

Hi, trying to get this mod to run but I’m getting this error:

TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘value’) TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘value’) at CustomFirstAidKits.postDBLoad (D:\SPT 3.11 Final\user\mods\Speenks-kyoukopan-FirstAid\src\mod.ts:195:51) at PostDBModLoader.executeModsAsync (C:\snapshot\project\obj\loaders\PostDBModLoader.js) at PostDBModLoader.onLoad (C:\snapshot\project\obj\loaders\PostDBModLoader.js) at App.load (C:\snapshot\project\obj\utils\App.js) TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘value’) TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting ‘value’) at CustomFirstAidKits.postDBLoad (D:\SPT 3.11 Final\user\mods\Speenks-kyoukopan-FirstAid\src\mod.ts:195:51) at PostDBModLoader.executeModsAsync (C:\snapshot\project\obj\loaders\PostDBModLoader.js) at PostDBModLoader.onLoad (C:\snapshot\project\obj\loaders\PostDBModLoader.js) at App.load (C:\snapshot\project\obj\utils\App.js)

Any clue what could cause this?

I tried troubleshooting this myself and for some reason this mod is incompatible with Realism, I’ll see if I can figure out why and let you know.

Okay, I managed to fix the issue by loading this mod before Realism, I think the medical changes are clashing. Will leave this here for anyone else with the same issue.

Oh, sorry, I should probably add that this is more or less an alternative to any other medical system and therefore incompatible 😅 I’m happy that you were able to arrive at a solution, and if it works best for you, you should keep it that way. However, the intended configuration is to just choose one or the other. Even though I believe the original mod was designed for both, I do not personally use Realism’s medical changes, as much as I want the hazard zones- they are unfortunately incompatible with Fika.

Is this save compatible?

What do you mean? 😅 Like a save game? Or a revival mod?

i mean is it safe to add on existing profiles sorry

Oh yes. At most, it might change some of the resource values of existing medical items, so you may see oddities such as 1/2 use bandages, or 3/2 use caloks.

All of the custom items are brand new IDs, so they won’t harm anything on an existing profile. If you obtain some of these items and then remove the mod without deleting the custom items, that’s where you could encounter issues.
