Hello everyone, happy Easter!
As some of you may have noticed I have pulled my mods from the hub. I can no longer bring myself to support them. After 2 years of mod development it became too much and too much of a chore to participate in, especially when some users just want more with no respect for your time. The decision wasn’t made lightly, I have hundreds of hours in development time and while it may suck to see them go, it was something I had to do for my own sanity. I do apologize, but I had to do it. It went from a hobby to me feeling like an underappreciated employee at 2nd full time job. Nobody should feel that way about something they enjoyed doing, and I advise you to not over do it like I did, its not worth it. Don’t push yourself to the breaking point before you realize its even happening.
The knowledge I have accrued over the past 2 years is open to anyone to learn from on my GitHub, I’ll also still help people when I can, knowledge is everyone’s property and it shouldn’t be hoarded. I’ll still be around in the background doing some things here and there, helping others get their footing, and working on tooling for Modder’s to aid in the easement of development, as this is where I feel I truly shine, it allows me to work in a manor thats seperate from the public domain and keep doing what I enjoy doing. However the days of direct development and user interaction are over I’m afraid.
With that, I’d like to thank everyone who has taken the time to provide feedback, test, and help me get to where I am today. I couldn’t have done it without ya’ll. ❤️
